We choose colors, we made new emails accordingly, we wrote a song, we found out about Rascal Flatts, he put a lightning on his backpack and I bought a Superman t-shirt. He has 3 kids now and a huge house we wish to have back then, I have travelled 15 countries and been with +100 women, but I remember fondly these moments, I believe our lives've been different without them

I remember being like “why does she keep playing girls with eating disorders? That’s weird” and thinking that was what she was gonna be type cast as. I was very happy to years later see her in Enchanted and see that she was no longer the red head with the eating disorders.

I am a little embarrassed to say this but…. First time I watched this episode.. I was 14 ok I thought it was so cool…. I went to school the next day. Leather jacket, shades… acting like an asshole. Everyone thought something was wrong with me..😂😂😂😂. One of my favourite eps lol

That scene of clark dealing with her death and bouncing that ball was one of my favorite clark monologs in the whole show. Every now and then i watch it again to feel that sadness

Those oners are brutal. I remember doing a long take while we had a rain gag. I had to spot the camera operator and have an umbrella over the camera, I slipped on mud and fell but I was able to stop the camera operator from falling, so got the job done.

A brilliant episode. It did make me cry. Q how come Clarks shoes weren't ruined after the long super speed run?

20+ years later and I still hate this episode. It’s just so creepy and gross. I remember being super grossed out when it aired and i usually skip it whenever I rewatch the series.

It’s wild that as a 36 year old I still remember how excited I was at 13 for the pilot episode.

I don't think Smallville had that much influence on long form/serial storytelling. Buffy, Deep Space Nine, and Battlestar Galactica were the progenitors the serial arcs. Buffy and DS9 both came well before Smallville; and Battlestar began around Smallville season 3 or 4 (depending on if you look at when the miniseries came out versus season 1). Battlestar really took that format that format and ran with it; which lead to a lot of new and existing shows trying to capture a similar feeling essence with the multi-episode arcs.
