No Michael you’re wrong. Lex lost out on a 150 mil contract. He started small and found one bug and then went crazy. It was great. You’re wrong it played great.

Lawyer guy from the beginning ends up on Stargate Atlantis and becomes a much beloved character. And was on Star Trek 2009 film.

It explains why the ship flew to the tornado because that’s where Clark was. If Clark put the key there the ship wouldn’t have left. So now we know the ship has more to tell. That’s the only good thing about this episode.

FYI my first bomb. This episode was dog shyt and all the episode was to tie off loose ends left from season 1. This episode is hands down the worst so far.

After watching this exact episode, my cousin and I said that one of us was clark and the other one was flash. Period. We choose colors, we made new emails accordingly, we wrote a song, we found out about Rascal Flatts, he put a lightning on his backpack and I bought a Superman t-shirt. He has 3 kids now and a huge house we wish to have back then, I have travelled 15 countries and been with +100 women, but I remember fondly these moments, I believe our lives've been different without them

Rewatching season 5 it seemed later in the season like it was a filler season getting into season 6. Season 6 is one of my favorite seasons. It brings a lot of new characters!

I remember watching this episode and it was the second thing I’d seen Amy Adam’s in, the first being cruel intentions 2 and both things she played someone with an eating disorder. I remember being like “why does she keep playing girls with eating disorders? That’s weird” and thinking that was what she was gonna be type cast as. I was very happy to years later see her in Enchanted and see that she was no longer the red head with the eating disorders.

That scene of clark dealing with her death and bouncing that ball was one of my favorite clark monologs in the whole show. Every now and then i watch it again to feel that sadness

You guys should try to get Allison on the show if she's willing to. No need to talk about the trouble she got into - just Smallville. I think alot of people would love to hear from her, she was a core part of the show...

Those oners are brutal. I remember doing a long take while we had a rain gag. I had to spot the camera operator and have an umbrella over the camera, I slipped on mud and fell but I was able to stop the camera operator from falling, so got the job done.

I don't think Smallville had that much influence on long form/serial storytelling. Buffy, Deep Space Nine, and Battlestar Galactica were the progenitors the serial arcs. Buffy and DS9 both came well before Smallville; and Battlestar began around Smallville season 3 or 4 (depending on if you look at when the miniseries came out versus season 1). Battlestar really took that format that format and ran with it; which lead to a lot of new and existing shows trying to capture a similar feeling essence with the multi-episode arcs.
