Don’t be to discouraged. It’s been some tough fishing locally for the last 6 months or more. Even the sand bass seem to have taken a vacation. It’s been at least 3 months since I’ve hooked into a legal halibut.

It’s been a long time since I’ve even tried. It seems like a few years ago the bite just kind of shut off and never really came back to what it was. I was in Santa Cruz a couple of months ago and talked to some guys on the pier and they said it was a similar situation up there. I’m not sure what the deal is.

I always watch my stuff every couple minutes, turn around and a Mexican guy with wife and 2 kids was walking away with it on his shoulder. I reel up and run after them. Of course he pretended that he thought it was washed up but I said bullshit and just walk away. Would have gotten a penn battle 3 4000 7 ft 3 piece combo My lighter setup

It was the same week they announced covid. I was in queens New York . I think it was what’s called the “Phoenix lights”. It was HUGE! I only saw it for a second . Get this! Last night about 9pm, I hiked up towards Nike base LA 29 in the local hills, to make a video for a new night vision that was given to me to review. As i was filming, I heard a couple morcycle shut off their engines and coast to a stop. I shut off my lights and watched them with the night vision. The scum were pushing their bike off the road and running into the bushes. They had no idea, i could see their every move. It was really windy up there, so the recorded video will be captions, but I could Cleary see they were waiting to jump me! They must have seen me walking up the trail with cameras, tripods, etc. I most always carry, so when I when I was done, I walked towards them to get to the gate and with the night vision in 1 hand and a gun in the other. I filmed, saying, "look at these monkeys in the bushes, they think I can't see them. But first one out gets 2 in the chest and 1 in the head" as I pointed it at them! Needles to day, they didn't come out. I got in my truck to return to Harbor bl, as the 2 bikes flew past me and made a right on Whittier bl.

The original TN12 Pro (380m throw) was a happy medium between price, throw/hotspot, and features compared to using a Modlite OKW or PLHv2 for EDC, not so much the V6.
