is the bottom bracket also nervar?

Polishing my 1981 Sugino Super Maxi crank and the 1977 Nervar crankset, they are very similar in weight and strength. I would give the Nervar the nod on overall wormahip and appearance.

The black Badge was also seen on the 1970 and 71 Cotton Picker Krate, and the 1970 Step-through Suburban, the white Paramount had its normal classic Schwinn round badge . When I saw the white color listed on the catalog, I realized I had never seen one and started my 2 year search 👍

@@that70sschwinn there is a suburban about a 100 miles from here for sale with the black badge and they want too much $ as well but was i tempted.its just such a nice color with the black badge .so classy and seems to be hard to find,i will rethink the distance and price.

Nice, the 65 is pretty much the same bike, a buddy of mine has a 64 and he noticed the missing cable stops too, When I first got it, I just figured that just another cooler feature these had for the downtube shifters 🤔 I have not removed the clamp so not sure if I will see a trace of them. I found all the parts I need for it including a super clean Sprint rear derailure that cost more than the bike😂😂 I got the bike for $50 . No worries on the fork, I will just get one with a 10" steerer tube and cut it to size. I will checkout your video when I get a chance.👍👍

That is correct, they sell as a 5 yard single roll, I like to cut them to 2 1/2 yards to make sure I have the same lenght foe both sides.👍👍

Nice! the 1965 Varsity was offered in the Lime Green with downtube shifters, a very cool racing look. The darker Campus Green was introduced in 1967 with the stem dual stik shifters. The stem shifters were added to comply with safety regulations. I have a Coppertone 1964 Varsity with the downtube shifters and I love it. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
