Funnily enough, minor spoilers Apology Tour starts with Blitzo and Stolas having a conversation that they should’ve had in Full Moon.

I think that this ending (plus his Sera interactions) really show a lot about Adam's character- he really has his insecurities about being in Heaven in the first place, hence why objects redemption. He sees all Sinners coming from him, and as such their actions color him and are seen as "stain of his legacy". More than that, as he knows that he is, in fact, flawed (unlike his claims), he sees his flaws in the Sinners, and through Extermination he is able to justify his place in Heaven- by erasing his own flaws from the world, he no longer needs to face how low he (and Eve) might have fallen. Really a well written villain.

would've been cooler if, instead of being a jerk, Adam would hear Charlie out, explain to Charlie his doubts, then give Charlie a list of requirements of how to get into heavan, then give her a deadline and if she doesn't redeem a sinner in that deadline, then the executions would continue. If Charlie does succeed, then heavan would fully support the hotel, thus leading to the V's wanting to stop the hotel because the hotel would potentially ruin everything they built. the series would then have a more episodic format, with one sinner being successfully redeemed at the end of every episode. Maybe even throw in a few episodes that focus more on Charlie, Vaggie, or any other character that is important enough to be rewarded with an episode all to themself.

With the new episode, I was kind of hoping Stolas would see the errors of his ways more and acc have some sort of open dialog with Blitz. But honestly, I'm happy with the direction the episode took instead. With Blitz's self-destructive tendencies starting to be flipped on their head and Stolas starting to see the errors of his ways in his musical number, only to be led astray by Vox and Verosika. I'm also really happy that the episode didn't just ENTIRELY focus on Blitz and Stolas potentially getting back together. It creates a far more nuanced and grounded episode. My only complaint is with just how big the party is and how many people had shown up to it. With the entire party being dedicated to hating one guy, you'd think there would reasonably be some pushback against it by some people, plus, even if there wasn't... Wouldn't this affect his brand? Blitz states that it has been a week since the last time they talked, and in that last episode, it mentions how their business has hit a peak. Wouldn't it make sense if Blitz's brand was affected as a result of the invintations and setups for the party? There would naturally need to be some level of advertisement for it. Other than that, this was easily the best episode of the entire season imo. Definently better than the last episode in terms of a by the books writing in regards to pacing, tone, etc. Also, it was just a lot funnier in general? Like the jokes didn't take away from the tone of the episode and were just funnier all around. Edit, I was wrong about it being about a week after they had originally tried and failed to talk to eachother back in the last episode, but my point during that section more or less still stands. I just figured I would add in a little correction here.

Y’all act like y’all didn’t get the point. It’s a common issue with WHITE… yes. WHITE straight (or even bisexual) women making gay trauma in shows and books. Quite literally look at the BL manhwa community. Straight white women reading gay trauma that’s either suppose to be a joke or romanticized made by straight white women. This show is not an exception. That’s not misogynistic just cus the person making the video is a man. I’m a woman and he is not wrong. Race have stuff to do with it but y’all wanna ignore that part cus when u go check these authors and makers of shows and books made with gay trauma mass majority are not men and mass majority are not POC and mass majority are not gay themselves let alone bisexual.

It's weird that Adam was chosen as the bad guy for season one. Like, he's the original man, and after the whole fruit-eating catastrophe, and after they die, Adam and Eve go to hell for a bit in the Bible before they go to heaven. They literally know what hell is like. They were redeemed. They are proof that Charlie's plan can work, so why isn't Adam all for it? Also, where's Eve?
@APzzz237322 күн бұрын
Something that PISSED me off since episode 4 was the fact that this show had never mentioned the sinners’ actual lives. You’d think, if you were trying to redeem someone into heaven, you’d focus on the actions that got them into hell in the first place. Take Angel. If you’ve read the fan wiki/Vivzie’s posts, you would know that he was part of a mafia with his family (a web of crime, hence the spider form). But that is never mentioned ONCE (it has to be in prime video for it to count.). And clearly from the Mimsy/Alastor conversation in episode 5, they DO remember their lives. If mafia was mentioned ONCE, that would give Charlie (and the writers) something to work with. Okay, he’s in the mafia. Why? Was he forced to do it because that’s his family, or did he jump for joy because he got to hurt people? If it’s the former, could he have actually gotten into Heaven if his family wasn’t a web of crime? We’ve seen his lovely traits in the show. If the latter, he can work through those tendencies in the hotel. Flashbacks are also important to explain why a character is the way they are.

Holy shit dude you really hit the nail on everything. I really want to like Stolitz, but the writers make it so hard. Stolas’ victim complex with Blitz could be interesting, if not for the fact that they paint him in the right.

When Cletus and Keenie say they know about the Exorcists, it's not really a contradiction. The exorcists are not a secret, the exterminations were. They are heaven's security and military. Cletus and Keenie probably just assumed exorcists killed hellborns coming up to earth.

1:37 I REALLY hope Stolas saying that "It's noT ALwAys aBouT SeX" is just irony because this scene right here shows Blitz having a normal convo and hoping this invite isn't a sex invite and Stolas immediately going all seductive in his reply

You have a good point, why Didn't D.H.O.R.K.S. make more of an appearance in the background. Hellvua Boss Season2 was a hit or mess: it felt like they were jumping around too much. you make some valid points. HB lacks connecting scenes. Season 2, hits differently, like when Stolas accues Blitz that all he thinks about is sex. Season 1: was better then Season 2. There is so much that was left for fans to figure out. Stolas is giving me mixed signals. Blitz being upfront is a major step for the scarlet imp. S2: HB lacks focus. I know, Hopefully S3: has more S1 vibes.

@a_naotenhonome780Ай бұрын
I hate how the show is basically trying to retcon Stolas and Blitz relationship, as Stolas being this uwu soft guy, who just happens to have a lot of bad stuff going on with him, and Blitz being the one who takes advantage of him and is in the wrong for not reciprocating the same feelings as Stolas (when its Stolas fault for everything being so messy since he is the one who was always overly s3xual and often referred to blitz as his play thing. So i agree with you when you said you couldn't take the line “I think so highly of you, I didn’t realize you thought so low of me” seriously, i couldn't either , because Stolas never gave a reason to him a reason to see him in such a positive light lol. Dhork and cherubs teaming up is a good idea on paper but in this episode it felt so weird since the A and B plot, feel like totally different episodes, both in tone and how it connects to the Stolitz storyline. Honestly this show is going downhill after they decided to put so much focus on Stolitz and retcon Stolas into a more soft character, that is held accountable for the bad things he does
@jaydenc36710 күн бұрын
But it isn't retconning their relationship, except he isn't soft or flawless, well he also messed up himself and all of that was apparent in season 1 too, except it isn't saying that Blitz is all in the wrong or that he completely takes advantage of him or is wrong for not reciprocating the same feelings as Stolas (it's not all his fault as Blitz could have helped too and he wasn't being entirely fair to Stola and Stolas wasn't always sexual to Blitz either to be fair.) I disagree, Stolas despite not treating Blitz a a true equal at times did clearly care for him and thinks of him highly as we see in full moon and The Circu. And Stola does give reasons to him a reason to see him in at least a sort of positive light with how much Stola clearly cares about him. I disagree it really didn't feel weird and they felt like the same episode tbh, tone wise they feel like the same episode just different subplots and they both didn't have to connect to the Stolitz storyline. Nah it really isn't like how is it getting wore? And the focu on Stolitz isn't that bad really and they didn't retcon Stolas into a more soft character he is still the same character, and he is held accountable for the bad things he does.

They outlined blitzo’s problem in truth seekers during his acid trip. That he can’t fathom/understand proper intimacy but also wants it. So it manifests in stuff like spending a day fighting his exgirlfiend for a parking spot, his overprotectiveness of Luna, and how much he interrupted moxie and Millie’s happy couple shenanigans. The problem is all of this is exclusive to s1. Had s2 bothered to even have one episode or even scene where Stolas attempted to make it not about sex, to have a moment or a day together, and Blitzo completely misinterprets is, then I could see Stolas at least making sense with his diatribe at the end.
@jaydenc36710 күн бұрын
