12/18/24 Thank you, thank you, thank you! We just replaced the Motor Coupling Kit again as it would not agitate. This happened soon after we got this used washer. We found the replaced one broken. So 2 days later we replaced it. It then agitated but didn't spin or drain. We found this out after a load of towels were started. Another couple days later, we followed your steps. IT'S WORKING!!!! Its the little things, i suppose. 😅 Your demonstration was easy to follow, simple, and pretty quick!

Can you just, instead of replacing it, pull a vacuum, blow it with nitrogen and solder or press fit it, make service ports and refill with 134a?

I'm curious to know, since you have a vacuum pump and the manifold, why not pull a vacuum on the hoses before recovering? Because the ambient air in the hoses at the starting point, has now been compressed and put into the container with the refrigerant. I can understand you''ll put on a new dryer, but this will still throw off your refrigerant weight a little bit, even if contamination isn't an issue. I thought I would ask because you seem thoughtful and resourceful - and I don't see any HVAC engineer pulling a vacuum first. The most they will do is bleed refrigerant through the hose, which also seems sloppy and irresponsible to me.

Hi I am working on a whirlpool refrigerator simular to that one changed the timer checked the bymetal and the heating element works good but the fridge keeps icing up what's your opinion the door rubber is good as well

@@nigelhosein7822 thanks for watching. It’s kinda hard without looking/ being there. But here’s a rundown. I know you said you checked some of these but I’ll include them. 1. Defrost timer/ defrost board. It doesn’t go into defrost. 2. Defrost heater is bad you can check for continuity. Or set the defrost timer to defrost. And see if it turns on. 3. Bimetal they need to be checked for continuity when it is cold. If you remove it and set it on ice or in the freezer and test. 4. The seal or gasket is bad or someone is leaving the door open. 5. Can also be a bad thermostat. Other then that it’s kind of hard. Without being there. Hope this helps and please don’t forget to like and subscribe if you haven’t. Good luck 👍

I installed a new motor and it does the same thing as the old one. Drum had to start turning but once it goes into run it works great. For now I just disconnect the door switch start it when it goes into run we throw in the clothes. Both motors do the same thing. Any help is appreciated

Hello! Can I still use this mini fridge? It had a refrigerant leak and it was filled with R134A but the compressor is for R600a. The R134a leaked out and the leak has been repaired. Can I refill with R600 and use it? The compressor still turns on but got heated with the R134a exposure. Thank you, Elsy

You don’t check your high side pressures when charging? And you could un braze the tubing instead of cutting off Have done over 1000 compressors that way
