When I was a teenager my mom read in a magazine that to prevent ingrown nails, to trim them straight and to file flat the nail plate (top of the nail where you apply nail polish) but to file it flat a little bit, if you file too much it will split the nail. I tried it and it worked. At the time I had painful, red big toes. So I’ve been doing this ever since and I have no problems with my toenails. I trim my toenails every two weeks this way. I had never read the “V” cut in the middle method before but it does make sense. 😉 Why am I watching this video? Because we recently went to visit a friend we hadn’t seen in years and I noticed he had thick toenails that were really long and pointy or curled. So I thought to write a comment about the method I use to trim my nails to help others as well.

I have chronic golfers elbows from my job! I'm surprised there's not much talk about it on YT - o can't any videos about massage therapists developing it. I know it's very common, I know several therapists with this condition.

Pretty much everything that applies to Tennis elbow applies to Golfer's elbow. Just on the other side of the elbow and forearm.

I've had a sprained ankle before, anyone that would try to touch it like that is looking for a quick slap on the jaw and a kick in the chest. No way you can touch a hurt spot like that😮

Just got my cast off. I am going to start with this toe-towel grabbing exercise to restore foot flexibility. For the ankle, I will try extension and gentle rotation exercises. I need to restore flexibility before even starting to walk otherwise I could lose balance and fall over and fracture more bones.

I have this in my left calf, is it ok to try walking with stiff calf or its not, its not very painful anymore unlike the time i got an accident and got injured my soleus left calf is just stiff and i feel mild cramp my left calf looks normal even it has a tight soleus muscle i tried this technique and my right leg the non injured one can actually touch the wall with a knee with a flat feet, but in my injured one the left calf i cannot touch the wall with my knee without raising my heel it feel stiff and a little painful, i'm even afraid to try to walk because of the stiff sensation maybe i will collapsed from the tightness thats what i'm thinking, my injury occured 7 days ago last wednesday now its almost 8 days since my soleus got injured from now on the symtoms i felt is mild cramp and tightness in the soleus area so do you think i have a mild strain or moderate strain.

Dislocated both shoulders. Surgery on the right. (A year ago). Feels pretty good now just at 90% I’d say. Don’t need surgery on the left. Gonna do PT I’ll let yal know the difference in like 6 months.

@caitlincathleen.ann268 күн бұрын
yeah I didn’t need surgery the only thing recommended was 2 cortisone shots so I could get back to competitions and games. but it ended up being a total 2 months of recovery because i broke the bone and sprained it. the bone healed quickly but it took me awhile to get back on it because of the sprain.

the last exercise could be dangerous if someone will try to do that after cast removal? like in the case of 5th metatarsal fracture. quite scary
@ndibunwachinonso6593Ай бұрын
Honestly. I saw that and I was like, no way. I had a fifth metatarsal surgery and my cast was removed just a week ago. There's no way I'm attempting that tiptoe yet.
@m.taylor13 күн бұрын
I am about 4 months' out from my foot/metatarsal fractures and I can only stand on both tiptoes while holding onto a table, but I cannot walk on tiptoes nor do single leg tiptoes on the injured foot. Too painful.

Hi Sports Injury Clinic. I recently had a minor injury to my right knee, which I suspect is the lateral ligament. I believe it was a strain (or sprain) and not a tear. I went to a local sports physiotherapy clinic where I live, and I purchased not only a knee brace, but strapping tape as well. Honestly, as annoying as strapping tape can be, I prefer the support that tape offers, over braces. Could this technique that you've shown us work with strapping tape? It's unfortunately all I have.
@AM-eh5ey5 ай бұрын
Can you please tell me exactly what type of Tape I need to purchase and also the width of the tape you used. This is a very helpful video and I need to strap my thumb. Thank you.

I’ve had hip impingement surgery and hip avulsion fracture surgery back in 2021, I did some physical therapy but my rectus femoris still seems to be weak. I’ve tried laser therapy, cupping and scrapping but it only gives me a temporary relief. It hurts when I sprint and squat. Left leg feels 100% and my right leg feels 70%.
