It's so nice to hear the enthusiasm back in your voice. You make me interested and curious just listening to you. Your aquariums look happy too. All different styles - no matter willingly or random design - are inspiring. The beautiful plants of all colours, sizes, planted in gravel/ in easy planters/among stones/ wood/ floating (... o, the lilies!). All the various combos of stone and gravel and wood and sticks - and some without. When one falls in love again with ones hobby (hard to do when it's also one's work and a "must, no matter what"), the magic returns. A big plant put somewhere 'for now' just happens to bring out the best in the mindfully planted greenery already there, just because it's just the opposite of the plants already there. A light leaf bringing out the dark in the others, a big leaf making the small stand out, vertical straight to rounded forms, It's when even the 'for now' , the 'in a year', the 'I have some of these', and the 'I didn't know it would do that' , when even those things turn out to be bullseye - then someone like me watching the videos really enjoys them 100%. Pros can make anything look easy, of cause, but in this hobby a person has to work together with nature and results may take time. A single variation of hundreds between two tanks give different results. It's when knowledge and experience is combined with love, curiosity and joy something happens. Intuitive decisions, improvisation, an eye for how looks and function may cooperate without always 110% conscious decisions, it just gives a look of balance. You just know, feel, have a hunch. Even the storage and growing out tanks just have that little extra. Your tanks look si good in their own different ways. Sorry for the many words. I just wanted to say I really love this fishroom content and I love to see and hear (!) the Cory enthusiasm that makes me daydream about a fairytale fishroom with no limitations, with a smile on my face. Thank You.

I really like how it flows through the tank. It just gets everywhere this way and that's brilliant if you want to raise fry in a community tank.

The fact you’re doing African cichlids again is AMAZING. I love all my Africans from my mbuna to my haps it’s always amazing to look at and be apart of! I love how you’re going to make it also a planted tank with them! I have tried and had to settle with plant hangers or in my HOB to get the added filtration and health benefits. Your food looks great too! The fact it’s small enough for fry and nano fish/shrimp is very nice, grinding down flakes or pellets for fish food works well but knowing I don’t have to do it and know it’s done well is a weight lifted. I love the guppy shrimp tank, awesome video and thanks for sharing! Stay happy and healthy my friend!

Picked some of this up at my local fish store (Aquarium Depot in Sacramento) and it was mind blowing how well it stayed in the water column and how long it stayed in the top of the water. This stuff is a must have for any nano fish tank or for fry. I think using this will help improve my water quality becuase I won’t be having so much crushed flake food going to the bottom feeding my snails!

I am sooooo excited for this. I feed my scarlet badis the easy fry food and love it but wish it stayed in the water column longer. This will be a great quick feed option when I don’t have brine shrimp ready. Man I just love this hobby.

About fish poop and fertiliser, I run CO2 on two tanks and I add a lean fertiliser every day. Plants look good and of course also get natural manure. It's easier to remember to dose a fertiliser every day than having to think about dosing once a week or something. The product I use contains every macro and micro nutrient, even iron.

Looks like Magic to me , and a great reason to visit Twin Cities Guppies to stock up on all the things that Aquarium Co Op has to offer and I have to grab a few lights before the limited supply is all Sold Out 😢 I think that is one of the best scapes I have seen in awhile ( the 1st w/ Dragon stone and the Crypts ) , not a tricky one but it just has a great balance going on !!!!! Thank you Cory for always coming up with the goods 🌿💚🌱

I hope most people get the fact that Cory is feeding these fish way too much food - he even says he's going to get a second food and feed them that to ! However , what people don't realize is is he's also feeding his plants (!!!!!!!). now a question for Cory - How much easy green do you use in a situation like this - is it even necessary at MAXIMUM feed ? 19:44
@AquariumCoop2 ай бұрын
Still dose easy green weekly. I believe most people underfeed their fish. The entire jar is 4oz. How much food do you think a 40 breeder with fish should eat? A pinch of this food looks like a lot in the water, however isn't that much. Take a handful of flour and throw it into the air in your kitchen. It goes everywhere. Now compare that to the flour used in bread to make a sandwhich etc. It's a visual thing vs an actual amount thing.

The Magic Nano Feed stays in the water column a lot longer than our Easy Fry and "floats" around to allow more fish to get to it, while evenly dispersing in the tank for grazers like shrimp to feed. ~ Zenzo

Loved the video. Any chance your iPhone can film at 60 fps? Frame rate really blurred up those fish as they were swimming. Not a big deal, and it might be difficult to have that faster frame rate as well as the lower lighting, I'm not sure how it all works. If I have to choose between more videos, but shot on an iPhone, or less videos, but shot on some fancy camera, I'd take the more videos shot on an iPhone no question.
@AquariumCoop2 ай бұрын
Been doing some experimenting, but I think most stuff going forward will be 60 frames again. 30fps, allows more light into the camera. So there is a tradeoff, but it's not huge.

Is this a food that Hillstream and/or Gobies and the liike might like as well as it settles on plants and bottom?

I'm not sure, perhaps the gobies. I haven't had a tank at home to test and in the store it can be hard with other fish in the tank and customers wanting to buy from it etc. Over time we'll get more feedback from people with those tanks ;)

Help me understand this The best fish food is a diverse mix of live food dry but mostly directed to the species you are keeping There’s no one size fits all because some are herbivore some scavengers and many carnivore I don’t buy only one food because of that and even use brine shrimp often
