That is a question I ask myself sometimes as well. I think some people prefer to watch a short, all-encompassing video to learn instead of finding and reading the stuff they need to know, so I guess that's why I made the video.

Any idea why I could only get this to work seemingly with values less than 10? I've no idea what I'm doing with regex but during my testing that seemed to be the case

@@aphrodisia4258 It only works for single digits, if you want two you have to search each digit in order. this expression: ^[0-2][0-9]$ searches the first digit for anything from 0-2, and the second digit for anything from 0-9. So this one will output when finding anything from 29 and lower.

@@aphrodisia4258 That expression is only looking at the first digit in the signal, and regex is a little complicated but ill keep it simple here. The Expression you want is: ^[1-2]?[0-9]$ The ^ denotes looking at the beginning of the signal. [0-2]?[0-9] is looking for a number from 0 to 2 in the first digit, and a number from 0 to 9 in the second digit, so anything 29 or below.. The ? allows the signal to ignore the number before it if it cant find a match (so if it cant find two digits, it just looks for the [0-9] alone $ just notes the end of the signal

Patching clothes through tailoring doesn't increase their insulation, so there's no concern there. However, wearing multiple layers to increase protection can lead to unwanted insulation, especially in the summer. Therefore, if I'm wearing highly protective clothes during the summer, I would likely remove some layers to stay cool.

You might be using more than 1 fuel rod if there are 4 fuel rods with 5% each for example, contraption will see that as 20% so check the guide in the description to do the alarm with multiple fuel rods. If it's not that you might be connecting the alarm's toggle_state socket instead of the set_state socket or you mixed greater component's signal_in_1 and signal_in_2 sockets.

Gas stations should be green, but the pumps usually won't show up on the map, just the market section of the station will show and it will be green. I'd look for a small green building with an empty space in front.

I mean, I'm sure you understand the game pretty well, but the wiring part is just logic. It's kind of like programming if you start to use components and stuff. I don't really understand it a whole lot as well xd

You can still use them if they're not powered. You just need to change the oxygen tank after using the suit because it won't refill. If they're powered though, they'll refill the oxygen tank inside the suit but you don't have to manually wire them on vanilla submarines anymore because they all come wired.

Can't say I disagree but I think using an incendium or a frag grenade with a detonator is a pretty good tip as well. Yes, it will kind of blow up the submarine but in a safe way xd

Well first 20% alarm would go off and then 10% and then 2%. When the fuel is less than 2% all alarms would go off at the same time and that could create like an extra urgency to change the fuel rod maybe?

The only mod is the thigh-high boots from the mod "The Unlimited". Other clothes are a mini skirt, a crop top, and a choker.

Yeah, you can do the same thing with lvl 4 rain collectors as well. They'll just hold a bit less water, but you still won't have to grind to lvl 7 carpentry to do plumbing.

Yeah, it works, but you need at least lvl 4 carpentry to craft them. You can try to pick up barrels from the riverside fishing store, but you would probably break them while trying to pick them up because of the low carpentry.

Yeah it do be like that. I remember when I started playing, I was playing in the apocalypse setting and I kept dying, dying and dying xd Exploring the game's intricacies and getting better at the zombie combat was still pretty fun though. You can also tweak the game from sandbox settings to challenge yourself just enough so that you learn and not get frustrated.

@@Dranka_ They need to create some "training sessions" like FIFA 2024 for people to train how to fight zombies over and over. Like how to use each melee weapon and firearm effectively without actually dying.

It is a crazy advanced system for a game for sure and then trigonometry oh god...

Games that have complex systems like that really raise the ceiling for how impressive a build can be. It's also cool that it's not really required to play the game casually, being a submarine designer is almost like an optional class you can play as to help out the team. I really like the concept of putting a lot of work into a craft in order to give yourself and the crew the best chance of survival. Also it being 2D means you aren't spending THAT much time building. It's still a lot, but it's a lot more manageable than something like Stormworks.
