I'm a bit late to the party but recently have been using almost exactly the same analysis method as here. If you're interested I also use the following: - Anspec (free) for checking kick and snare levels a bit better - 4X for checking the sub and kick relationship - Isol8 (free) which helps isolate mid/sides/ 4 different adjustable eq bands. I put isol8 just before SPAN and keep a hotkey on it to open it so I can really quickly isolate parts of the track when I need. (you can of course do all this with just eq bands and a utility device but I prefer to use a plugin that you can press one button to open rather than click in and out of the master)

Does anyone know if you can use your own vocals and your own instrumental to create a song on SUNO? I am a producer/artist and would like to feed both my voice and instrumental separately to create a song on SUNO.

Yo man, I love your vids and appreciate the work you do, I'm asking a question here in hopes that you see even though it's not related to this video (sorry)... So, I was making an edit the other day... I downloaded a track from Beatport, bring it into Ableton, no warping at all, no FX, completely raw track... I notice the track is coming in clipping/redlining a bit. If I just export the track, Ableton clips it on the export, then in Rekord box, the track is noticeably quieter than the original download from Beatport, by around .3ish LUFS. Have you ever dealt with this? I would hope that if I bring in a Beatport track, cut something out etc... then export, it would be the same exact volume as the original track. Any thoughts? It's driving me crazy. I'm not even sure how a track gets to Beatport that is clipping since any export should prevent that? Thanks again for being an absolute boss in this community.

Sonny specifically talks about smashing stuff to red, in order to create distortion. I believe he said something about making it sound like “sh*t” on purpose.😂
