THIS IS AMAZING!!! I've been dealing with panic attacks for 5yrs now. I don't have them frequently but when I do get them I can feel them coming on and i immediately get so scared and start to panic making it worse. And Dr Google ain't no help. I just got one now and immediately started to panic so i came on here right away (KZbin) and i saw you Ms. Barbara I clicked on it followed everything you said & did and WOW!! My attack slowly started to lessen & lessen till it completely stopped. Thank you!!! So so much!! I saved your video for the next panic attack. I highly highly recommend anyone who is suffering from these horrible panic attacks to watch this video, i promise you it WILL help you tremendously.

Very Interesting! That is true! How our body reacts to our thought!. Observing our thoughts makes us so aware! Thank you so much!

No. Not triggered because im healed and if you're not healed you cant truly help another. You can feel FOR someone but if you feel WITH them youre emotionly dysregulated

I admit I love 💕 animals such as dogs and cats 🐱 than human beings since I’ve always been misunderstood and mistreated by human beings of all races and genders.

As a child, I wished that I couldn't see other peoples feelings. I learned to ask myself, 'who's problem is this? 'That alone has made a huge difference in my energy level.

My twin daughter, who is now 19, can not stand to see or hear any person or animal harmed in any way. When she was a child she could not watch cartoons where a character was hurt. She would cover her face or run and hide. Now, as an adult she can not deal with seeing or hearing about anything negative about people or animals. It causes her great anxiety. Her twin sister passed away from suicide and she seen spirits all the time. So we have been to psychologists, therapists, and grief counseling. She's intelligent, friendly, yet introverted and talented. But how will she function in life when she can not cope with negative news concerning others? Any advice would greatly help. ❤

You speak with so much clarity, logic and calm in your voice. I have done therapies in the past, but I'm still stuck with many persisting issues while I can't escape challenging situations. OK, a "challenging situation" is likely a cognitive distortion. Got it. Wait a sec, is this true or false positivity? I guess it could be both. I would think if our safety is critical, we can't afford the false positivity. Otherwise, I can only see the benefits. Thank you so much.

This was so good! Thank you, I recently changed jobs after many years and am kinda proud of the way I handled it. When my supervisor said things about me that I knew were lies, I reminded myself that I was leaving anyway and that this was not an argument that I needed to 'win'.

I tried to meditate this time for the first time in 3 years and normally I would be so unsatisfied with the results. But now I imagined myself salty and all wet near the beach and feel that I accomplished something with my imagination. Although I couldn't meditate for 10 minutes. But I'll try harder tomorrow.

Thank you so much for giving us this information for FREE! What a gift. Thank you! I have done EMDR many times in the distant past with at least 3 different providers. I have also done hypnosis at 3 different points in my life. I am still dealing with some things (phobias) that have come and gone over the years and need to desensitize myself. Also, I have tried to find therapists but many don’t return calls or their wait list is so long they don’t even add to it. It can be very dishearte Can’t wait to try the self administered EMDR! Again, my heart felt thank you ❤ ning.

Hi Dr. Heffeman, thank you very much for your videos on EMDR. Your knowledge and practice is very helpful. I live in Kiev, Ukraine and I have a Rehabilitation center for injured soldiers. Mental health is needed and I have been studying about EMDR therapy. Do you have any videos explaining specifically using EMDR for soldiers?
