Of those colors, I like the Zandfoort Blue the best in a vacuum, but, aside from (maybe) the Z4, I can't see it on any BMW. I think the Miami Blue would work well on the 3, 4, 5 series . . . especially the 4 series convertible as shown.

filmography couldve been way better when trying to compare looks, here the camera is just swinging left to right. Anyway, I like the simple sporty streamlined look of the tesla better, BMW looks a little busy and I can't get over the front grill

Yep, you should not kid LOL, because the plaid is for sure the better car of the two. I canceled my 24 model 3 performance order, and grabbed my 24 Plaid about 4 months ago. No regrets. It's the ultimate daily driver for sure when compared to nearly every car on the road.

The 2018 was little older and more mileage that I normally go for but I really like the color.

Regular Model S long range is also no joke - it launches slightly softer than the new M3P, but on the highway it pulls decently harder.

Yes the MS LR is a phenomenonal car. The M3P is nice but too small for my needs. I'm still deciding on whether to get a used Plaid and swap out the yoke or wait for a 2025 model. The S LR is still in play too.

Was it difficult to get tesla to address the cosmetic imperfections 2 months after you received your car? Did you just call the location you picked it up from? I also recently got an M3 about a month ago but saw a small imperfection on my hood as well.

Sorry to hear about your hood imperfection, I would either message them through the service portion of your app or call the store where you bought it from, it helped that I documented pretty much everything on my vehicle, at delivery or immediately after delivery.

I spoke to a couple BMW dealerships and researched the warranty issues with Carbahn tunes. Your warranty is extend by Carbahn, not BMW. If there is an issue you can't go to BMW looking for a warranty fix, because your BMW warranty was voided with the tune. Carbahn takes on the responsibility of the factory BMW warranty. 2 BMW dealerships that I spoke to use to offer the tunes in house from Carbahn, they don't any longer, stated too many issues when dealing with Carbahn. Yes you have your factory warranty, but its just not with BMW anymore.

I have the 24 m3p and i can't fault it. I love it. It's the perfect car. And in that, there is the problem. I do find it a little boring compared to ice cars. The inefficiency in ice actually makes it interesting to drive. Power coming on as the revs build and then changing gear. Its engaging. The tesla is better. But less engaging.

Both have their place. Obviously the bmw is more fun too drive and looks a hell of alot cooler on the road. Amazing corner carver and best all around performance car in its price range. The tesla looks like basic traffic but also has the best straight line performance for its price range. 2 different class of buyers that offer 2 different ways of driving.

@M3rewards I've driven the tesla model s plaid 2021 and it's blistering quick when u floor it but it's hard to exactly put ur finger on what's missing. Idk if it's the interior or lack of sound but just crusing around doesn't give u that "special feeling" that other high end sports car give.

Wooah, i feel like teslas are dull and all very similar. The m3 has so many different sharp angles, beautiful headlights. Has insane bucket seats. For me M3 just has a lot more flavor than the Tesla. But everyone has their own opinion

Drove them, M3 of course looks better, and the interior is more exciting but the model 3 felt much quicker. If i could afford i would buy both of them

Quick tip: wheb trying to film car colors, you can use the free Final Cut camera app, and lock in the white balance and exposure, so the white balance and brightness of the video doesn’t change all the time.
