UNESCO sites like Toledo or Segovia are perfect daytrips, it's not a place where people go to have a party LOL it's not a city like Madrid or Barcelona, obviously not, so it's just about knowing where you're going? I think your remarks about "someone who is easy to please" (people who like literature and history are easy to please??) or "someone who is not picky about good food and aesthetics" are quite offensive. How is a historical UNESCO site not aesthetic?

Super passive aggressive comments at the beginning. Basically: if you’re an easy to please idiot that’s easily impressed, you might like this. In reality, I think the historical significance of the place, especially for certain ethnic groups, went right over her head.

I travelled all over vietnam late 2023,2024 spent most of my time in hanoi but visited most other cities and areas, sure hanoi is dirty and very busy but there is a lot more to see and do in hanoi compared to saigon for tourists, saigon is more 'westernised' , hanoi is more 'authentic' . I stayed mostly in the old quarter and think it is the best area to stay. Yes, air quality is a real problem and when its bad, its really bad, a few days i couldnt stop coughing but what makes it worth stating are all the things , places you can visit that are unique . I spent a week in saigon and ran out of things to do. Visited the north, cao bang, mong cai, the coastal route from hanoi to saigon, the inland route as well, phu quoc , but kept going back to hanoi ....

I just returned from a two week trip to Europe visiting 7 different countries with a group of 24 people. Toledo was our last stop and one of the groups favorite places we visited! Please check it out for yourself. I love Toledo and have been there 6 times! It is so full of culture, beauty and history! The cathederal is my favorite of any other I've visited throughout Europe. I encourage you to go beyond the Store Museum and get off the tourist route. There is a fun train ride that takes you around the city for some amzing views. We ziplinned across the river next to the San Martin Bridge which had breathtaking views and shopped and ate in restaurants off the tourist path. I think pushing a stroller with a young child would be difficult on the narrow cobble stone streets and pehaps clouded your appreciation for this beautiful and amazing city! Please give Toledo a chance - one of my favorite places!
