Q: will throttle reverse and flaps work with 6 channel transmitter ?

Thank you for this video. I’m so annoyed with Chevy right now. 3 months and I can’t use this back row properly. Thank you again!

How do you change swith H which is on the back of the unit? Do you need to separate the halves entirely? If so, how?
@bhacker15gmАй бұрын
Don't drill. That button you talk about on the side pull that cap out. Take a long skinny screwdriver and push it in the hole. They pop down.

Great easy temporary fix. Thanks a lot. I am also waiting for parts and it is hard to believe this made it past quality (?) control.

Thanks for your brilliant solution. I travel a lot and use clothes hanger rods in my cars to hang clothes while travelling. To my surprise the 2024 Acadia has no where to support the hanger rod. Do you have any ideas how to support it?

This was a huge oversight from GM in my opinion, I haven't though about it, if i come up with something I'll post it here.
@JAStewart2Ай бұрын
With a little patience, tools and some assessment you may not have to drill a hole in this piece. I was able to take mine apart, find the issue and replace the problem piece with a thick piece of electrical wire.

It was this and other feeble design features on the turbo timber evolution that made me decide never to buy another eflite product. Your video has prompted me to bring my plane out of "retirement"

Is it really worth it to buy a new vehicle you have to work on it out the gate?

Another reason why I don’t like power folding rear seats. On manual seats, I’ve always been able to remove the rear headrest by simply pushing a button near the base and pull it up and off the seat. I do it to increase rear visibility.
@lkrupp2152 ай бұрын
Wouldn’t this completely void the warranty? I wonder what a dealer would say when they find out you drilled a hole? Same problem on our new 2024 Traverse LT but we’re willing to wait for the official fix. I we really need the third row seats down we will just pull the second row seats forward to allow the third row to go fully down.
@kentuckyoutdoorexplorer57972 ай бұрын
They can't void the warranty for drilling a hole in plastic the same way they will not void the warranty over modifying your car with new wheels, mud flaps, and any other accessory you add. They would need to prove the modification caused the malfunction you are attempting to claim warranty on. Honestly, the dealership isn't GM. They dont want to deny the warranty claim as GM will be paying them to do the work.

Today I found out parts are not available. No idea when a fix will come. I called GM. They are going to assign a person to help me. We shall see how this goes. The seats and headrests are faulty and failing all over the country.

Thanks for taking the time for a very thorough how to video…..especially the roller wheel sound, that thing drives me crazy!!!! I went one step further in your flap setup, I set my flap trim on the Lt trim for takeoff flaps and Rt trim for landing flaps……that way I can also adjust flap throws while flying……..

Good video and you did a great job demonstrating. I came up with a landing gear mod for my TTE using parts ment for the floats. One of the aframes can be used for spring action. Now I snap axels, not springs. I bush bounce my TTE pretty hard. Cheers

Another option is to remove those wires that are inside of the spring coils. They are there to limit/stop the springs travel distance. When ever that limit distance is reached on a hard landing, the energy ends up bending, stretching, and breaking other connection points. I do like the newer springs that you put on here, and the new TTE has been upgraded with these better springs from the factory along with a 70 amp ESC.

I got my landing gear spring yesterday ! That's take just three days, I was surprise ! I Will install the landing gear spring this morning ! Some People's cut the retainer inside the factory spring ! Don't think it's a good idea ! And the little plastic plate with 2 screw I d'ont trust this piece of 💩 ! So the twin timber spring will be much better for sure ! 👍

You've wasted your money, all you have to do is remove the hooks from the standard springs, then they'll last for ever

Thanks for sharing, is it needed to go through the process of replacing the whole switch? I do not have a faulty switch,, I just have a broken switch,, could this be just replaced by the new one to avoid the soldering mess. Thanks

I don't think you can take the actual switch apart.

@@kentuckyoutdoorexplorer5797 Thanks for your reply. I got a switch from a hobby shop. They are standard switches used by most of the manufacturers, but one need to make sure it is for 3 position (which I needed). The process involved tiny soldering, and now everything work well. Thanks

Good and stable camerawork 👍 My T28 1.2m with my NX8 is arriving tomorrow 🙂 I’ll know what to do now. Hope the weather will change soon, because with the current november winds and rains here in Holland, testing her in real flight might have to wait for a few weeks. Many thanks

Nice. I have an NX10 and I will be setting it for a brand new in the box E-Flight T-28 I just picked up.. Your video is gonna help me alot. I don't want to use the "pre-fabbed" downloadable settings because I wanna learn how to do it myself. Will probably go without the reversing for now. Maybe add that in later. This is my 3rd plane. Graduating from an Apprentice STS and an AeroScout. Can't wait to get this T-28 up in the air. I feel like its my 1st "real" airplane. Appreciated your hard work on the video. Subbed.

Using solder flux paste would really help your connection, using a solder / extra hand 🤚. Clamp & magnifying glass helps in many ways . Worth having in this hobby.
