I love how you blend different philosophical schools of thought and make them accessible to everyone. It’s a real gift to explain such intricate ideas with such clarity.

It’s not about avoiding discomfort-it’s about growing through it. Stoicism really teaches this.😊

I let my emotions get the best of me. It makes me seem like I am weak or just act off with the responses i receive. I want to change that I want to be better I want to feel nothing and just be silent and move on from things I have no control over. It’s hard but I am determined just hoping for the best I’ve always acted off of anger or frustration and depression it’s messed up a lot of relationships I had. But I am better than I ever was years ago.

I started using stoicism to help me cope with anxiety. Not too bad, it's working elsewhere, so I applied it to my anxiety issues and it seems to be having an impact.

Good News! i discovered that the brain/body is capable of setting itself Totally Free of fear, anxiety, sorrow, despair, loneliness, shame, guilt, confusion, contradictions, addictions, and all other mental/emotional disturbances, in each and every moment of daily life, once and for all, now forever.

This gives birth to True Love, Peace, Happiness, Creativity, & Clarity, for the very first time. Not the love, peace, happiness, that the I, the me, the self, the thinker, the mind, imagines it to be, which is a limitation, imitation, and distortion. It is not temporary. It is happening in each & every moment of daily life, 24/7. It does not take time. It has nothing whatsoever to do with time, effort, or choice. It occurs faster than the speed of light. The children are ready to be set Totally Free at the earliest age so they don't waste their whole life with any mental/emotional disturbances.

This insightful piece masterfully bridges stoicism with modern psychology, offering profound lessons on emotional resilience and self-awareness. It reminds us that while we can't control external events, we hold the power to transform our perceptions, habits, and reactions-ultimately shaping a more balanced and fulfilling life. Truly a roadmap to inner harmony and growth.

Going through two decades of worsening hardships and finally reaching a point where everything is quite stable and peaceful. Going through all that made me stoic without me even knowing what it is until recently. The thing I struggle with is emotion control towards a certain topic and I have a constant lingering anger and hatred in the back of my mind. I want to get rid of the emotion while keeping the knowledge. I already taught myself how to control anxiety and crippling stress, but the lingering hatred and anger are very tough to crack.

How about to pray? There you can find anything... Ave, Maria Stoicism seems rough and cruel. The soul and the inner child are not like that. What strengthens you is prayer and to explore yourself alone or with Jesus, with Mary and so on. Psycho-spirituality. None of the ways are bad: you alone or with Jesus, Mary etc. Yeah, you can have an eye to philosophy, but there you can't find true rest, true peace. You need a person to whom to relate to...,,who you say I Am?", not ,,what do you think of what I'm saying?" Do you know? Sure, you need people to express yourself, but also there is a need for Someone Else... until we don't experience the relationship with God, we don't understand, or even a new conversion...
I'm 20 years old and still struggling to control my anger. It often overwhelms me. I'm seeking help because I want to change, not just for myself but for my girlfriend. We recently broke up, and it's all my fault. I feel like a burden to everyone. I want to change, but I'm struggling with my emotions, and I'm holding myself back from being better. I'm hoping this can help me improve and change my life.

I completely understand how overwhelming anger can feel, especially when it affects your relationships. It's really brave of you to acknowledge this and seek change. The Stoic teachings can definitely offer valuable insights. Have you ever tried focusing on what you can control in your reactions, instead of letting emotions take over? Sometimes, just pausing and reflecting before reacting can make a huge difference. What has helped you in the past to stay calm when you feel angry?

when ever u get away from the scene that cause u anger without saying a word and rather talk to urself."Why should this person do that, what's their motive around it". Anyway I won't let it take a hold of my peace of mind.let me ignore it.the more you ignore the more u bcome less reactive

Im 34 and i just lost the woman i love more than anything because of not being in control of my emotions and it blocking me from understanding my partner and feeling real empathy. By being here at 20 youre ahead of the game and om the right path. I may not seem at face value like the best person to give advice but heres a few anyway. 1) learn about hyper emotions some people are more emotional than others. You may be that 2) See a therapist. Although im not fixed im better than ive ever been but im still not there so dont expect them to fix you 3) keep learning about yourself and putting it into practise only by doing the latter will you get to where you seek 4) you wont change overnight. Accept that. Dont punish yourself for every setback Best of luck i hope you make the changes you seek. Much love

Every morning, it's a struggle to get up at 5 a.m. for adoration and morning mass. Thankfully, I win that battle more often than I lose. On the days I miss, though, everything feels off-I’m scattered, with no clear direction. Thanks for this reminder to keep pushing forward!
