Brother, you talk about ADHD and should probably know people who are watching this have ADHD - yet you spend 2.34 minutes on intro. Please consider shortening your intros in future. JazakAllahu khairan.

Nice to see another person with ADHD who wakes up early, although I do so completely voluntarily, most mornings I wake up at 3 AM (even though my workday doesn't begin until 8 AM) since I love all the morning time to myself. I guess I wake up so early I'm almost a backdoor night owl, haha

We used to call on the phone to make an appointment, we got the receptionist on the phone, she made an appointment or connected us to the right person. Now we call and the receptionist wants our phone number and somewhere in eternity the right person will call back. I am in the 'I make an appointment now' mode NOW and want this task to be finished, but they let it open. I think people with ADHD should be able to say this adn tell them we are not able to continue our day until they have called. Plus, while calling them about a bill, I don't have my papers under my arm when I am in a lunchroom and they call back. When they call back it's never convenient.

I don't feel like fixing the broken things or "coming *back* " to something... which is why I hate iterative work (eg. projects). If someone were behind me to fix it vs me having to fix it, then 👌🏽

Need hygiene habit tips for wudu. I was, basically, a smelly girl when I was younger, and while I'm more normal now as far as generic showering, I still feel avoidant of getting wet any more than I can help. The standard shower amount was bad enough, now after converting it's not enough that I got to this point (which is demoralizing to consider) cuz wudu. It's a huge barrier cuz ya can't pray without it. The prayer itself is nice.

☺️ you can follow the wudu with essential oils that suits you so you are tricking the brain that after wet stage comes good smell and good feeling on the skin hopes this helps

This video is honestly amazing! I am struggling so much with my ADHD and you explaining how working on multiple things at once helps with your desire to task switch whilst also staying productive speaks to me greatly. Keep up the work. Really inspired.

How does the Pomodoro technique work with it? Do I need to adjust the time I’ll be focused and, when it’s done, adjust the time I’ll take a break, or is there some kind of preset?

Oh my goodness I am 1 and a half minutes in and need a note pad! You have hit on things no one has told me such as estimate how long my tasks will take and how I keep getting into overwhelm. This happens weekly, then I get into this energy crash and my brain is on vacation for days.

If the M2 base models don’t make sense, you buy an M1 model that does off of a reseller. Same thing with new iPhones. Last year’s model is always the best value right after they new stuff comes out

Yeah well don’t feel too bad about it. Apple lets you spend as much money as you want. People new to the M1/M2 lineups will have it tough maximizing value for what they need There are so many configurations that don’t make ANY sense that Apple lets you buy

how long the battery last if its been used for 2 hours/day ??
@theadhdmedic
@theadhdmedic 8 ай бұрын
I've had it several years - using it multiple hours a day, and it's never ran out once. It's just a led display and a buzzer. The screen also dims (standby) when not in use. It doesn't really use much battery at all.
