Father is also useless he's just assuming what she need's to act like he cares...The fact that Abbys parents lied about deafness history in their family tells a lot...I wish this was just a movie...but unfortunately this is the reality of many, many children around the world 😢

Short, sweet, meaningful

A very powerful short film and i loved it. I'm partially deaf and have hearing aids, yet still struggle in noisy environments. I remember one time, there was a fair on in town, my hubby said something but i couldn't hear it. Fortunately my daughter remembered (the limited) sign language i taught her and she signed it for me. Sign language i believe is going to be taught as a GCSE at secondary schools from Sept 25

Not so much amusing as kids nowadays don't go for blank pistols. I 'm a 74 y.o. man who kept a .38 for protection. A real one. But a computer repairman who came to my house stole it. It ended up in the hands of a young kid who got stopped for a traffic violation, some 150 miles away. I doubt I'll ever get it back, but at least it's not in the hands of someone who will kill for a gang initiation.

Now for me it's been two years since the first time I thought about taking my life, and I'm proud of being here. We are more capable than we think, you just need to push through, believe in yourself, and having someone there to physically speak to is really, really helpful.
