Cx-5 are selling for 1.5x price of a Rav4 in my forsaken country... I just cant stand the ugly design of the rav4 😶‍🌫

Based on what facts besides hope?

I thought would talk more about the technical side of the cx5, been it, that u dress like ur a mechanic, but all the talk here was about non essential concerns. What a waste a time this was. Nothing about engine, and tranny. What a waste of time.

Am considering a new Mazda 3, any thoughts of the Mazda 3 with a 2.5 standard engine? for 2025

The RAV 4 is one of the ugliest suv's on the road. They look so cheap. The Mazda CX-5 is much nicer, both on interior and exterior by far. I bought a new 2023 CX-5 for my wife and love it so much I am buying a 2025 for me! I have never driven a RAV 4, but I will bet the Mazda drives a lot better!

Bought our 2017 CX-5 after test driving 5 in the same class. All of your conclusions match up to why we purchased. We thought it was a real bargain compared to all the rest when you looked at the bottom line.

Cx 5 made in Japan equals incredible build. Any Toyota built in Japan , fantastic. It is just that. We own a 2019 rav 4 and it has been excellent.

Agreed with your points here. We had rav4 on top of our list but here I Canada hybrid model is 2year + wait so that was out of the question also interior felt cheap. We test drove crv and cx5/cx30 back to back. The crv felt boring it had good space but driving and interior were not good as the cx5. After driving the cx5/30 we were sold the handling and premium interiors for the GT model for the price in 2024 was way better value than the competition. No regrets loving our polymetal grey GT 24 Watched most of your cx5 videos it helped our decision as well keep up the good work

First time Mazda buyer. Picked up a 2024 Mazda CX5 select for my wife, who has been a Honda CRV driver for decades. No regrets, found a new relationship. BTW love you videos on CX5's.

Crv was a bit too big for my needs and didn't offer near the standard features on the LX model as the CX5 does. So went with the 24 cx5 Select. Has all i wanted, plus NO sunroof, I-stop or cylinder deactivation. All that plus a fairly good deal sold me on my 1st Mazda . Always been a toyota and honda person. No longer. My only wish is that it got better mileage, but I'll have to accept that. ZOOM, ZOOM 😊

It's my favorite vehicle, period, which is why I bought another one last week. Second since 2017.

Jonathan, I’m just a little outside of your market (NJ) but have been enjoying your videos. I have been looking into a CX-70 PHEV as my next vehicle, but I’m running into issues finding one with the tow package in my area. I’ve looked through 100+ in-transit vehicles within my area, and none seem to come with that package. I find that weird considering who they claim to be marketing it towards and the features of the tow mode. Have you noticed this in your area, as well?

I drive a Rav4 (Company Car), it’s OK but I feel they are over rated in general. Interior is cheap, motor is noisy, handling is so so. All it took was one spirited 2024 CX-5 test drive and I was sold on one for my personal vehicle. In my opinion the looks of the CX-5 are more appealing. Front and back ends of Rav4 & HRV’s are way to busy looking. Sometimes less is more. LOL 😀

I really wish that Mazda would make Zircon Sand available in the Turbo Signature, or come out with a deeper green color. I love green cars (when the color is done right!) and there just aren’t enough of them out there.

I’ve had my 24 CX-5 Turbo Signature for almost three weeks now and I’m just so in love with it. It’s so easy and so much fun to drive, also comfortable, and it just looks so good. I do wish the back seat were slightly larger, but I rarely have anyone in there so…whatever. I’m so glad I made this purchase.

Are they going to do any spe ial on yhe CX 90?

My experiences with Rav 4’s were that they were not up to the price point. In 2024, the two vehicles that stand out in this class are the CX 5 and the Kia Sportage. If you crave technology, the Kia wins out, rides softly and is very domesticated. For those who enjoy a vehicle that has enough bells and whistles, a gorgeously upscale interior and is a “drivers experience “, the CX 5 is your baby.

Hey Jonathan, I think for when ever the new redesign Mazda 3 comes out. If they are trying to continue to go up market. I think the base Mazda 3 engine should have a just a regular hybrid with at least 200hp with 40mpg. The up graded engine should be the plug- in hybrid engine the same in the cx 70. Since it’s a small car the ev range should be as good as the Prius prime 45-50 miles on just electric. The top trim features should still have all wheel drive with up date double wishbone suspension in the rear. All the current Mazda tech with the addition of ventilated seats and on the hatch a power lift for the hatch. Make the 3 just a little bigger about the size of the Integra. What you think about my idea 💡. I think if they do this the Mazda 3 will out sale all the other cars in the class. What did you think?

Based off the current model CX-5 the CX-30 may overtake. But once they drop the redesign, it won't be close whatsoever. My store does 100-130 new units a month and the CX-5 outsells it by 25+ units every month.

breaks my heart that all the great APR offers disappeared. I stumbled on the 0% carbon edition CX-5 two days after the deal changed to exclude it and a month later all the deals got worse. I wonder if there's any chance they'll improve again once tax month is in the rear view mirror

Just got my new 2024 Mazda CX5 last week..it has amazing handling and great safety features.

In Canada where I live the starting price of the CX 70 is $49,750 for the GS L (lowest trim). As someone who is a strong supporter of Mazda, having had 2 different Model 3's, CX 5, CX 7, Protege, and Miata....I'm disappointed in the CX 70. Both in the pricing here and the size of it. I was hoping for something between the CX 5 and the CX 90 with a lower price than the CX 90 (starts at $45,900). Mazda should bring the CX 60 here. I would be quite happy with it.

I agree with everyone in the comments. The decision to keep the same look and size as the CX90 doesn't give it a unique identity so hoping it is at least 10k cheaper than a CX90

CX70 is absolutely stunning 🤩 All black is super hot. PHEV ✅ It’s 2024, people have 0 or 1 kid. 3 rows is not needed anymore.

Love the interior of the CX-90...but, too big for what I was looking for. So, went with the 2024 CX-50 TPP in Zircon Sand and the terracotta interior. The CX-70 is just a CX-90 with the third row delete. Confusing branding...it's not really different. Just some lipstick and eye shadowing. Was hoping for something slightly larger than the CX-50, but not as much as the CX-90. Sticking with the CX-50...which is surprisingly agile and great looking

CX-70 is overwhelmingly disappointing. The only way to save it, is to make it significantly cheaper than the CX-90

This thing is gonna sell so well, if priced appropriately.
