Hi Jonathan, as an Aussie I'm glad the current 6 sedan/wagon still has a life here Downunder. I can't see it lasting very long as Mazda said they would keep on the CX8 but of course they backflipped and canned it. Do I think canning the 6 to make more room to produce my SUV's, NO I think that the 6 has ran it's life and Mazda has to either drop it altogether or resurrect it with a new platform as they have hinted. 1981 was the year I purchased my first (new) Mazda a 323 1.4ltr panelvan and to this day I'm still loyal to the brand. Your new new Zoom Zoom podcast is great

Hi Jonathon and all you folks in America, I am in Australia and I just ordered a new Mazda 6 Anniversary edition whilst they are still available. I think they are a modern classic and I want one before they are gone.

Who else would buy a RWD, inline 6 Mazda6? I would buy one for 40-50k!

I’d love a Mazda 6 wagon. I know it’ll never happen, but I would buy one instantly.

As a salesman you would like to see things that Mazda just won't produce. We have a 2014 6 & love it even though it is under powered. It has been very reliable except for the small battery. A lawn mower has a lager one. LOL BTW the 6 we own handles great as expected in a Mazda. I just hope they don't stop racing as that is where most innovations come from. ie:Paddle shifters.

That’s awesome! The Mazda6 was also a fun drive. I hope we see a midsize sedan soon.

Hey Jonathan, you look tanned and rested! You just came from the greek island? My neighbor has the mazda6 by the way, it looks beautiful. I hope they bring it back.

If Mazda brings back the 6 (60), it would be VERY intelligent of them to FIRST - BRING IT BACK TO THE USA, and SECOND - use the inline 6 in sedan AND wagon format and offer rear wheel drive and ESPECIALLY an ALL WHEEL DRIVE option for drivers that have a lot of snowy weather where they live. THAT is the way to compete with brands like AUDI who ALWAYS have ALL WHEEL DRIVE (Quattro).

Fun 🤩 FactS: Australia’s 🇦🇺 population is less than the state of Texas’s 🤠 🌵 🐎 (Imagine 💭 an automaker just making cars 🚘 for Texas only… hmm 🤔 Wouldn’t it make sense that they’re just purging final body panels/parts? IMO, Mazda has been stairstepping the 6’s manufacturing down: 2021: North America And Europe 2024: Japan 2025: Austral-Asia I DO hope that Mazda’s relationship with Toyota- (Who are Sharing manufacturing plant in Alabama for the Toyota Cross & Mazda CX-50) Will yield a similar Sharing- Which would bring back the 6’s sequel: larger sedan segment as a “60” - in the same plant as the Toyota Crown? Very interesting

I just traded my 2018 6 signature, I thought it was close tom perfection and like it much more the cx5 which I now own and would gladly trade it for a new 6.

Mazda needs to step up their game. Design language is boring and seldom changes in a major way.

Will the Mazda 60 just be a three-row Mazda3? Seems likely tbh. After the 28-month marketing stunt known as CX-70, I have complete faith Mazda is capable of delivering an epic disappointment.
