Thanks for opposing utilitarianism, Sky! It worries me that people like Danny don't even care about the concept of utilitarianism to realize that it is opposed to veganism and that he falls into the utilitarian trap from time to time. It's like a constant swing between veganism and non-veganism.

It's always amazing to hear Sky put down "plantbased" sites like VegNews because they focus on recipes and celebrities while he also supports vegan bodybuilders killing animals so they can get a message out (that has already been made repeatedly for years now) and maybe save a few more animals (more proof it does more harm than good) but VegNews possibly saving 10's if not 100's or even 1000's times more animals is bad because they don't just focus on what he thinks they should. smh. Dan has it right, the vast majority of harm to animals (96%?) is being done through our diets so VegNews offering vegan recipes and bringing attention to "plantbased" living by using celebrities is doing more good for the animals than the message that needlessly killing animals for fun or muscles is ok as long as you're "vegan". (a view 95%+ vegans seem to agree with) And of course I'm "stupid" for saying that too. I know, I know.

You/the woman makes fair comments about following a fruitarian or raw diet in places like the UK. Fruitarianism is a bit like the vegan version of a carnivore diet in terms of its realistic practicality; by which I mean the impossibility of the amount of food produced actually feeding a society. Especially all through the year. I can see how it could work if you're living in the Tropics. Not so much if you're living in Grimsby, in November, living on shrivelled up Golden Delicious. For the most part, it's a massive distraction from the real purpose of veganism, & has been the cause of most of the negative PR about veganism since the 1970s. She seems deep into the Freelee/Cosmic Woo Capitalism of it all. Historically, the remarketing of it all as vegan is a much later thing. I'd question whether it trully is. Wasn't Thailand (Chang Mai) where Freelee & Durian Rider started their thing?

1:05:50 I skipped through the videos, so I may have missed some details, but do the Thais cook the same way as the Chinese do, i.e. in woks? I gave up eating Chinese, at anything other than vegetarian Chinese places, simply because they're using the same woks, the same oil, the same sauces, the same utensils, & generally pretty filthy water to steam up the food. It's not even a question about contamination to the degree of chunks but just everything been shared, & the chefs have to work too fast to care. It's like I wouldn't eat mushrooms out of a frying pan that's just been used to cook bacon. Try Taiwan for more Asian vegetarian options (which are mostly vegan) because of the Buddhist tradition there. Best vegan food ever I've had was in Japan, but it's really difficult if you can't read the language and/or have a native speaker to guide you. Not really a place to have a chill out holiday either.

@GrumpyVeganGrandad No it doesn't. Because if that's the case there is immorality in so many areas of life that you can't help. Just get over your past, there's no god looking down on you judging and giving rewards for people that try to avoid eating meat or whatever. It's all silly stuff. Sorry mate but it's the truth. I watched that pignorant, just because there wasn't much else on that interested me and I believe you said something along the lines of "I have to make up for ehat I've done" you can't make ip for anything because there's no one to judge when you've done enough or not ,it's all in your mind. Get a life mate, this sort of thing is jobless activities, people that have no life so they want to put themselves on a moral highground. You are no better or worse than anybody else ,if you want to eat just plants go for it but no one cares, and it doesn't make you a god person

Yeah, vegans should NOT be attacking other vegans. If there is a disagreement between if keeping leather items around the house or not or the exceptions then do it privately. If it was a gift be4 becoming vegan you can dump it but if the person died then i say keep it. Your thoughts? I have one leather item that was given to me b4 I decided to stop eating animals. The person that gave it to me died of a disease. I kept it because it is something they gave me. There are no other items like that.

@@bonchidude well, it seems to help reduce the impact of fats and sugars on your body helping to keep off weight gain. Reduces inflammation. There are a few Dr's using it to reverse diseases along with fasting sometimes. Other people say it is the raw aspect, cooked food releases more calories inside.
