Go on vacation in the u.s and waste your dollars domestically. Americans need to start putting money back into our own economy.

On the bus you have to tap every time you get on, but the fare is nominal.

I would say that the fast-paced development has exceeded the capacity for the local govt to plan infrastructure properly. Difficult to assign blame here, since we don’t know if the development is Mexican or foreign. Regarding income equality, if that’s an issue, you had better not visit the vast majority of countries in the world.

Their's Kanata , Orleans , South keys, downtown ,the Glebe, west end . So it really depends on where you live

I’m Ottawa born and raised and agree with the bilingual comment. I took immersion French throughout school but always struggled with it no matter how hard I tried. After having an incredibly hard time getting a job I moved away. It’s sad that people with speech impediments that can’t speak French cannot get jobs.

Mexicans don't even want to live there, why do you seek to live in such a violent place controlled by the criminals?

Toronto and ottawa are dangerous to live. I was born in vanier and it's dangerous. If you move here it's better to go in the rich neighborhoods like kanata or Orleans

Trust me on this one, I was born in Chicago, but I did my elementary and high school in Mexico city, before returning to the states and going into the Marines. You are not safe anywhere in Mexico, period. The minute they find out you get dollars from your social security, you becomes a target for gangers and narc dealers. don't ever think about living amywhere in Mexico, trust me, you'll regret it.

Remember Mexico is a 3rd world country. it will never be the USA or Canada. it's disgusting to live the way they do all because of corruption and the famous Moche, " BRIBE" Those at the top in government will keep stealing and pay the rest of the citizens literally nothing..disgusting

I agree I will never go back to Tulum. It is $25 just to get into a Taxi. I want to go six kilometers to get to the beach and back. It will cost me $50. I need to go to the store it's another $50. This is just a rip off. No wonder they will not allow UBER here! How much are the local GOVERNMENT PEOPLE getting in kit backs and bribes? DO NOT GO TO TULUM JAN 16 2025

Subbed. Excellent video. I spent some time in Tulum in the mid-80"s. Just a few cabanas and hammocks. Sadly, as you show here in the video, it has become the quintessential tourist hellhole.

Took the family during COVID 2021,… Had planned to stay 3-5 days in Tulum as we drove up and down between Tulum and Cancun, for two weeks… But we left after 2 days after we saw someone get shot in the street on the beach road in front of the busy hotel area If we had not seen that, our two week vacation there in Mexico up and down the region was amazing and felt very safe

we just came back from Tulum. it was our second trip (first one was right before covid). we were chasing the dragon, basically. Beach is amazing. that is about it. Many places have closed since our first visit. We stayed at Mistiq Temple 2. there is no road to it. food is terrible. prices are too high. many developments have turned into Ghost buildings (Adela Zama). city is in bad shape and it was not bombed by B1. you can't live or chill peacefully when you are surrounded by poverty. Tulum has died

The hoteliers being kicked off their land is not as black and white as you portray it to be. Basically it's against the law for a foreigner to buy land within a 100 meters from the beach. Loads of foreigners have done it on Tulum though, decades ago and they must bribed the current administration, however, years go by and those politicians come out of power and then they find themselves in vlunerable situations, unable to pay off the current administration, so yeah they get evicted.

The seaweed isn't Tulum's fault. Its happening across the caribbean. It's run off from intensive farming in Brazil. Nitrogen is being sprayed on the crops and washed out to sea where it ends up in the Caribbean and feeds the sargassum

Buffalo has suck for over 30 years. There's really nothing here. Most of the parks are empty. Almost every event is at canal side. Italian festival is like 2 blocks long, P.R festival is just trash now. Always a fight. Etc Etc
