When welding, the mask doesn't just protect your eyes. It also covers your whole face. I used to weld occasionally without a mask thinking like you and I can confirm that it causes skin damage and can cause cancer. It really isn't worth the risk my friend.

To help prevent sticking slag, you can spray WD40 on the surface also.

It’s a chain and go cart clutch currently but will be torque converter soon

How about a update video. As far as I know there are no synchronized mower transaxles. That's probably a mst 205 3/4 axle. The peerless 820 is built stronger, has 1" axles but still won't last shifting.

Best bike ever built to this day. Honda Z50.!! I bag someone to differ with me lol. The brand new 50s have the exact same motors as 1969 Z50.

make sure you take somewhere or do yourself to true the crank. it’s supposed to come trued but not always good. 7 hours and blew main crank seal. still trynna figure out why. was told potentially cause i didn’t check the trueness of the crank and or when slightly out of true. replaced seal and redid carb. still tryna time right but boggs in 3rd which never did before. however i broke new piston during disessmbly. so to took off new jug. lil wear to piston but more to the jug. alittle upset about the strength of the new top end from kawasaki japan. like weaker aluminum or something. but running with old piston and top end.

Cool stuff. I just smashed the lower outlet on left radiator. The hose clamp was smashed too. It hit the power valve cover. Bummer

Just found your channel last night watching the dirt bike lift that doubles as a fab table, and I'm loving the content! Stoked to build my own. Can't wait to see the TIG in action on this thing. May have moved up to the top of my list for which welder to buy after seeing the tig quality. Getting back into fabrication after about 15 years. Making custom stuff for mine and my wife's dirt bikes, so I'm mainly gonna be welding aluminum. Appreciate your knowledge and insight!

There are many builders converting the CR500. They all build them thier own way. They are not Equal by no means. The AF chassi weighs more than a Standard CR500 chassi. But, the Weight savings are actually in the Subframe airborne area and the Suspension.. is lighter.

I have owned four. 1990, 1998, 2000 and i still own my 2010 Service Honda CR500AF. The main difference is suspension is super soft with the Steelies. But, the Steelies seem to hold the lines and follow ruts way better that the AF. The AF is way better for handling and to go fast on. The suspension is so much better. Plus, the AF is lighter. The AF is definitely the eye pleasing crowd getter.
