I saw the news but mainly I felt like it wasn’t necessarily right for a TxT video until there was an announcement of an actual public release date, or if it surprise drops in record stores. Still… I prob should have gone ahead and done a video anyway. 🤣

Probably one of my most favorite of all time! The guy was a genius! Thanks Dan! I cry every time I hear this song! It hits home as I only lived 50 miles from Peoria growing up same time!🙏🕊️

My favourite Dylan live album was 'Before The Flood'!!! Still remember buying it from a nearby store in the early '90s, copying on cassette and playing it to death thereafter!!!! Puberty strikes again!!!!

Well written and presented - Thank you for this! As a note, Dan Fogelberg's dad (The Leader of the Band) taught band at that high school and the street is named for them both :) "The leader of the band is tired and his eyes are growing old..." 🎶 is a sweet line from the beautiful song honoring Dan's father. IF you are reading this and haven't yet heard Dan's album/cd, "High Country Snows," do yourself a favor. It is a perfect album. John Sutter's Mill, High Country Snows, Hard to go Down Easy, Down the Road... All these I am listing by memory, and now I think I'll go put it on. Haven't listened to it in a long time. God bless Dan Fogelberg! His music is in my soul. Rest easy 🤍

One of my favorites in Folk / Rock / Contemporary music makers ! His compositions are extraordinary - beautiful and alluring in the lyrical stories so well framed by this natural troubadour ! Missed since his being gone .... still here on disc. GBjj

I bought the immersion boxed set some time after its release and thought it was pretty good, but within three years, the Blu-ray audio disc containing the 5.1 and 4.0 remixes became unplayable by either of my two players. You can see some kind of strange delamination happening on the surface of the disk. Fortunately, the DVD with the same surround mixes remains playable. But it's a bit of a bummer considering that they weren't exactly giving away the immersion box, either. Although I guess that now it looks like a bargain.

Can anyone tell me if either of the 5.1 mixes in this new box set are any different than the 2003 5.1 mix included in the immersion box set?

A very informative video about her. Don't get me wrong, Taylor Swift is among the biggest artists out there even though I never like myself, however she couldn't reach the seismic impact of what The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, The Stones, Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground & others had done in their primetime. That isn't to say she's terrible & whatnot, it's just she doesn't have that method. I would say that TS will pretty much be remembered a lone time from now, but only time will tell.

Great video! I just recently bought an OG 1st print of Discovery on vinyl and it actually came with the club card which has been expired for 22 years at this point! I've been searching for what daft club was and you video is the best resource! So I guess they came with the both the 1st run of vinyls and CD

I don't give a fk how nice the book is. $125 (from Amazon, the cheapest I've seen) for 6 CD is overpriced by at least $40 and a ripoff. Shame on these greedy record companies. Only way I'm considering buying this is hauling stuff for trade in at my local record store.

im a marine and toby came and sang for us in afghanistan. dont ever say toby is anything other than patriotic and would die for this country. he spent his whole life showing us love. he loved this country and her troops. i dont mean to sound rude, but this is uncalled for. surely you have heard courtesy of the red white and blue, american soldier, and the taliban song. he loved us so much.

Been a Pink Floyd Fan since 74, So I Will give a Full Throated Disagreement with you. This song is beautifully emotional, and her vocals are super emotive, and Davids solo at the end is perfect. Me thinks you had your own expectations Standing firm in the way of your mental vision of the song.

It's pah-kahn pie, not pee-can pie. Pee-can is the container in your tent you use while camping to avid the rabid raccoon, skunks and hungry flying monkeys lions between your tent and the campground restrooms. (Saying pee-can pie can also make you ineligible for the draft.) That aside,I do appreciate the information on the song.

Got this not too long ago, like it a lot...though, just wondering if anyone had issues of the first song (A) side (Rushing Water/all white LP), skipping like crazy?...it's not the needle, and no problem with the reverse (B) side first song...nor no skipping on any of my many LPs....balance/tracking & level ok!...think I got a bad run production?

I simply don`t get all the praise this song is getting. It`s massive, which means almost not a single negative view. How come? I`ve heard a lot of music through a long life, and this song is far from unique.

Since I was a young teenager who purchased Jefferson Airplane's "After Bathing At Baxter's" and listened to it start to finish over and over again, I do not find Paul Simon's latest to be all that strange or hard to take. Or Rolling Stone's "Satanic Majesty's Request" that I also listened to from start to finish, repeatedly. Or, for that matter, Sgt Pepper.....

Excellent song 10/10, Romany looks more like Young Dave Gilmour than Dave Gilmour ever did. She's kinda how you picture a young Dave Gilmour in your head. It's uncanny.

We need to see how this track will fit with the rest of the tunes. To me sounds like a little bit of David to show Romany’s small collaboration in the new album. Love the song though.
