WOW Kyle, that is taking the box set to the outer limits / it looks very cool & I'll be envious of anyone that has the means to purchase it / hey if you're going to make a Super Deluxe Box Set why not make it awesome like this one. I of course will settle for the deluxe CD version with the book etc. Thanks for showing all the options as usual Kyle !

I’d like to get the 6CD version as well, but I may monitor the price for a couple weeks. It’s still a bit pricy.

Other artists would do well to copy the Bob Dylan camp whose bootleg series is usually reasonably priced and has excellent new content.

@Bobmacca64 Obviously the big box is priced a bit… extravagantly. I wish a vinyl option similar to the 6CD set was offered. That would still have probably been $400 or more, but less than the $1350 box!

Lennon's camp's box set releases are the gold standard of box set releases. I can't wait.

They're very good, but I don't know if I'd consider them the gold standard. I'd say they're on par with most other major artist box sets.

@@TrackXTrack To each their own, but for me, for consistency, artistic design, wealth of content and production quality... they're on top. Dylan's camp used to be on par, but since he sold off his rights to Sony he's stuff has taken a major decline.

I'll strongly consider the 2 💿 version but have yet to spend 4 figures on any music related project & only a few times have ventured into 3 digit expenditure on a project.

Too funny that’s my main problem with these super deluxe sets hundred freaking mixes of the same songs really I would listen to this one time maybe and it will sit on my shelf collecting dust just a waste of money to me. Give me an album with a few demos and I’m good.

Profits go to the Lennon Estate. The Lennon Estate is divided one third each between Yoko, Sean and Julian.

@@MsKnighterrant Julian is not a shareholder in Lennon's estate. Under the terms of the divorce, Cynthia received compensation in 1968 and another payment when Julian reached adulthood. The second payment was halved after Sean was born. But even this had to be demanded through the court, since Yoko was not going to pay. Julian is also not credited in any of the re-releases of his father's work, although Sean and Yoko are featured as producers.

The super big box is not in my price range. But I'll indulge in the 6 cd/2 blu ray edition. Not cheap though.

That super ultra mega deluxe box is absurdly overdone and overpriced. I'm a big fan of the Mind Games album, but these elements mixes are boring to me. Maybe I'm just outgrowing these musical archeology projects. The books have become the top selling point for me. Maybe if there were a bookmark included that is made from a piece of Dakota apartment hardwood floor I might consider buying that big box.
