Tim doesn't resent Hawk I think because in the end he knows (or comes to term) why Hawk did what he did. At the same time knowing, Hawk truly loves him all those time. I think it was shown throughout the 80s scenes after they met again that Hawk had always wanted to stay. He gives excuses to Lucy but he really just wanted to stay..with Tim, knowing this might be the last time/chance that they'd be together. Regardless if Lucy stayed or not. But I guess Lucy knows, she can't win this time. Hawk might not go back to her (at least not until Tim died). Tim on the other hand probably sent Hawk away because with what little time that he had left, he wanted to fight and he doesn't want Hawk to be there to see the struggles and pains that Tim's gonna face with his health deteriorating and challenges for the movement and finally his death. Truly a bittersweet show. I'm at least glad we got to see their 80s scenes as we can see the what could've been between them. Domestic husbands life🥲❤

Agatha: It's "coven two" Alice: How many witches left the road with you last time? Agatha: One Literally every reaction video: OMG she was the only person who left the road??? Smh, the question was how many left WITH her, so if one person left with her then there were two of them that left the road together, hence her saying "coven two". And yes, I've watched the whole series. I'm just saying that at the time I watched it for the first time I understood the implication but somehow nobody in any of the reaction videos I've watched so far realized that she was saying there was one other person, not that she was saying she was alone.

I saw many people in the comments speculating on who the "black heart" is. With the benefit of hindsight, I have an analysis. *Spoilers for Agatha All Along up to and including episode 6* The list Lilia wrote contained five names, not four. It was a list of all of the people in the coven, including Agatha, which is why she said a list of four names, meaning there were four people Agatha needed to find to complete her coven. When Agatha first saw the black heart, she assumed that it was talking about Rio due to their previous conversation where Rio said she had a black heart. In order to avoid encounter Rio, Agatha decided to pretend that the heart was referring to Mrs. Hart, since a black heart represented the Harts coming over for dinner on the calendar that Wanda and Vision had in the first episode of WandaVision. Of course, once they ended up summoning Rio, Agatha was frustrated but assumed that it meant they finally had the proper coven. However, as she pointed out in episode 4, Rio was a tourist. She never felt threatened by the trials she participated in, and she wasn't particularly helpful either. Then in episode 6, we see Eddie text Billy "You're my 🖤" which many fans picked up on and realized that the black heart was referring to Billy the whole time. The thing people tend to miss is the reason Lilia used an emoji instead of a name in the first place. When she wrote the list of names, Billy still had the sigil on him so none of the witches could learn anything about him that would reveal his identity, including his name, and they also couldn't remember times they met him already (Lilia and Alice). So Lilia was unable to write down his name, leading to her using something else to describe him, hence the black heart.

I have rewatched the show multiple times and still do. I especially love rewatching this episode, particularly the moments between Tim and Jackson. Just two nights together and Jackson felt understood, comfortable and safe around Tim than with his whole family and trusted him so much in so little time. Loved their friendship. Also, it was interesting how imo the roles are somewhat reversed between Hawk and Tim here that for the first 5 episodes through the 50s, it was Tim who really wanted to be with Hawk and Hawk felt the same way and reciprocated but was more concerned with being vigilant and protecting himself. Here, it's clear that Hawk needed Tim like with how he kept tabs on him as Marcus said and gave him a safe haven in his hunting cabin and how much he wanted to keep him out of prison and stay so he'd be close by so he could be with him if Tim wanted him to. That's the reversal how Tim did his best not to fall so easily for Hawk again and left. Tim had grown since the 50s even though he did want to be with Hawk, he didn't want to come between him and his family. I do wish he stayed for Jackson though. Heartwarming how Tim's time with Jackson helped mend his and Hawk's father-son relationship.

So Agatha would trick other witches and steal their powers by manipulation with her fake story about “The Road”. However Billy came along and actually created the real “Road” with his powers, so that’s why Agatha was really surprised when it actually appeared.

Two take aways I got from the series (and this episode in particular) 1) The maiden, mother, crone: the stages of “womanhood” and the cycle of a woman’s life. These are the 3 figures depicted on Agatha’s cameo she wears. We have embodiments of these stages in the coven with Lilia clearly being the crone. Knowing her fate, it’s no surprise she tells Jen she’s “the path forward” so she essentially passed her the torch. While he is technically a “he”, Billy is clearly the maiden. The youngest and newest to the craft. And the mother really could be Agatha and/or Alice. 2) While the maiden, mother, and crone represents stages of one’s life, they’re also symbolic of “phases”, just like the moon phases we have seen over and over on the series. But LIKE the moon, Lilia’s life is “cyclical” meaning she really didn’t “end”, but rather, her life came full circle, hints why she resumes her lesson as a novice witch and restarts the cycle.

Yeah they only did hand stuff the 1st time around but what the show is trying to teach and raise awareness of is that it still counts as sex. And I would agree...I mean if you make each other come / climax in front of each other/from the other partner's stimulation in some way, that practice is sexual so it's part of sex and should count as such :)

My thoughts are that at the end of E7 their first sex is more likely handsy (touching) and frottage. We do see Nick grinding on top of Charlie. While there is still “ loads” they can do, it takes a while and preparation. By the end of E8 Nick now has condoms and lube. All these encounters are very tastefully done and the actors perform stupendously. I believe that the series could end here; it is essentially Charlie’s story. We see him first in S1E1 and end with S3E8. Charlie’s healing and journey is complete. However, a S4 would be good to explore Nick’s journey a bit more along with their moving forward together. We will see.

When I first watch these episode, a lot of people seemed bothered (focused) that it appeared Charlie would be the bottom because, unfortunately, it is a Bi trope/assumption that Bi guys are always tops; thankfully, Alice was asked about it and she said both Nick and Charlie are switches. It might not seem important, but it was nice to hear that she felt Nick wasn't always going to be the stereotypical Bi Top that most films/TV tend to portray precisely because he's still very much unsure and, as you both noted, feels that Charlie is the stronger of the two. As Charlie would give himself to Nick, so too would Nick give himself to Charlie and watching how the intimacy scenes were done showed an elegance of understanding, the giggles, the hesitation, the sheer discovery was beautiful. The ending of the season (Possibly the last after Kit said he wanted to take a break from acting for a bit after Broadway) was perfect. It gave us what we hoped for as an audience, an intimate connection that allowed their story to come full circle. Watching this I kept thinking about the first season and how both lads were so innocent and unsure and seeing them at the end of this season being more confident, but still having their personal doubts. Very human. All in all, this season was brilliant, a lot of pathos, empathy, emotional trauma coupled with emotional awakening and realization. I could go on but I'd be gushing all night. On a more serious note (not really) I LOVE how Panos says "no...wait...stop it" when the screen went black. So cute. Watching you two gives this Elder Gay life, seeing that our spirits will not be dimmed or diminished. As always, another great reaction. Can't wait to see what's next on your reaction list.

The conversation that Imogen has with Nick on the college trip mirrored the one that he had with her after cancelling thier date in season one. They both talk about discovering who they are and feeling pressure to fit into a stereotype or group. Nick is still figuring out who he is and Imogen has just started the process. I think she felt safe to tell him because he had opened up to her about the same feelings.

I've seen some people (not you guys) take issue with the season ending on Nick and Charlie having sex, as if finally having sex is how we know Charlie's "better," but that's not what it's actually about. It's about both Nick and Charlie becoming more confident and comfortable with _themselves_ (Charlie with his control and body, and Nick with figuring out who he is or could be) to let go of some fear and anxiety in order to fully enjoy that level of intimacy with someone. I also loved the way the sex-scenes were shot. They weren't explicit and felt cinematic and beautiful, but also awkward enough in a way to seem realistic. The way they smile and giggle at one another is endearing, and its the way two teenagers in love would (and should) interact while exploring that aspect of their relationship.

It shows how their relationship has grown, but I hate that it ends HERE, because it feels like that was the end goal. Which is kind of insulting, like sex is the ultimate payoff in life. It's not. There's so much more story to tell. We need Season 4 to bring Heartstopper to its natural conclusion. (We already know Nick and Charlie are endgame, but we can't just END Heartstopper with them in bed. It feels cheap and salacious. They deserve better.)
@J_Mock92
@J_Mock92 28 күн бұрын
@@polythenepam6461 I mean, I kind of get what you're saying, and I definitely agree that we need a Season 4, but it's not like the season actually ends on them "having sex." It ends on a montage of them talking, laughing, cuddling, and sleeping while laying together in bed, then finally with Charlie giving a sleeping Nick (who looks adorable laying on Charlie's chest I might add) a sweet little kiss on his forehead. There's obviously sex involved, but that's not the focus. We "see" far more sex at the end of the previous episode (as in, more sexual acts are alluded to), and the final scene is pretty clearly focused more on "intimacy" and feeling comfortable and content with someone. Ya know, like being in Love... (Edit: also, it doesn't necessarily only really show how their "relationship" has grown, but how they've grown as individual people.... I thought the show made that pretty clear, as well as what I said in my comment, so... And no one is saying that it ends here. It hasn't been confirmed for a fourth season, and scheduling might be an issue with most of the main actors being busy doing other projects, but it's just uncertain at this point. Netflix is notorious for cancelling beloved shows, but with enough fan outreach, they might scramble to make it happen. Even if it takes a whole extra year (let's be real... Shows like House of the Dragon and stuff are coming out every other year now), I'm routing for it. I hope they don't make us wait a whole two years to tie up the story with an adaptation of the Nick and Charlie novella, but I can accept it if they make it happen!!!
@J_Mock92
@J_Mock92 28 күн бұрын
@@richardcollette9884 exactly. The final scene is clearly more about "intimacy" and feeling comfortable and content with someone (like being in LOVE), than it is about sex. It's mostly a montage of them talking, laughing, cuddling, and sleeping while laying in bed together. Is there sex involved? Sure, but there's more at the end of the previous episode (even though we're probably meant to assume they went further at the end of the season finale), because that's not what the final scene is focused on. I truly don't understand people (and not trying to be a jerk, but their lack of media literacy) sometimes 🤷

I think your comment is too puritanical. As the boys themselves acknowledge in several interviews, having sex btw them was important for the story AND the source material. It would have been unrealistic without the sex and the education that came along with it. It was also handled tastefully and “heartstopper-y.” By the way your calling the reactors out for talking “dirty” is a dead give-away. Sex, even btw teens is NOT DIRTY.
