The song contains transcendent themes. Few contemporary hip hop artists do this. Your confusion is understandable but unjustified.

If we’re friends and you’re constantly referring to me as nigga, I’m going to have a friend conversation with you that you’re programming my brain to have the impulse to refer to you the same way. That’s just what happens with friends, we all adopt speech patterns and mirror one another because we love and respect one another. So if you’re not cool with that, you gotta stop calling me that word. If you’re cool with it, then I’m cool with it too and that’s the friendship we’re gonna have. If that’s all unacceptable and you can’t stop calling me that word, then we just have to stop hanging out together because I’m going to say it eventually naturally.

Fab has some popular hits in California like the intro to street dreams. I think you're truly someone special. And can't deny it. And more.

I'm gonna be honest.I grew up a fabulous. He was One of my favorite rappers, even though I'm a little too young. I still grew up. With fab. Me my dad would listen to him in his car. When I was a little boy. We would be bumping to that. Listening to some old ghetto, fabulous. Street dreams loso's Way. From nothing to something. Realtor fabulous's time list, I'm older now. I still listen to him. And I also listen to some Styles P Jada. kiss. Rough Riders. I hate how fabulous is so underrated. Like if he don't exist, he's a good rapper to be an existence. And honestly he's better than all these new rappers. this generation. I can't I'm sorry I can't listen to the new generation rap. Like I can't listen to Kendrick Drake. I can't listen to any of them. They're just stupid to me. I like that old 2000's even 90s rap.

The true golden era for mainstream Hip Hop Music was somewhere around 1986--1994 give or take a year or two. The golden era was destroyed when the music industry started forcing rappers to dumb down their lyrical content, promote the criminal lifestyle exclusively, copy the successful rappers in the mainstream, when the east coast and west coast started beefing through the BAD BOY and DEATHROW record labels, and when TUPAC and BIGGIE got murdered. All of those factors contributed to the destruction of the golden era Hip Hop Music in the mainstream. In the late 80s and early 90s, rappers used to make it cool to be creative, unique, intelligent, thought provoking, socially conscious, humorous, etc .. Even the gangster rappers of the late 80s and early 90s such as ICE CUBE, ICE T, KOOL G RAP, and SCARFACE had substance to balance out their gangster lyrics. Great and respected emcees like RAKIM, KRS ONE, BIG DADDY KANE, and CHUCK D made it cool to be deep, intelligent, woke, and socially aware in their music. But by the time we got to the mid 90s, the industry had to find a way to dumb down the lyrical content of rappers from the east coast, west coast, and the south. The industry had to use talented and respected rappers to start dumbing down the lyrics to remove the substance out of rap. The industry used a gifted rapper like BIGGIE to erase the righteous intelligence that RAKIM used to bring on the east coast. And the industry also used another talented rapper like SNOOP DOGG to erase the substance that ICE CUBE used to bring to gangster rap on the west coast. Then the industry used CASH MONEY and NO LIMIT record labels to erase the meaningful thought provoking lyrics that SCARFACE used to bring to southern rap. That's was the beginning phase of what led to mainstream rap becoming the mumble, trap, and drill rap garbage we hear right now in 2024. The only two rappers who are keeping true lyricism, originality, and substance alive in mainstream rap in 2024 is KENDRICK LAMAR and J COLE. The rest of these modern mainstream rappers suck.
