Charlatans are everywhere. Do what works for you. Next he might be seen wearing tee shirts like "Killing was my business, and business was good" along with tiger stripe pants. You gotta call people you don't even know foul names, you ain't a real guy. AND A TEE SHIRT DOESN'T MAKE A GUNFIGHTER. It may impress the girls, those who don't know any better. Maybe that's what it's for.

Have the 40 S&W version and glad I bought it. It's harder to find than the Walther PPQ M2 9MM. Walther PPQ M2 is an excellent firearm regardless of caliber. To bad they discontinued selling it and the 40 S&W.

P365 has failed over and over. The last thing I would carry to protect anything. I have more reliable pellet guns. Shooting a sig 365 with sig 365 ammo. Absolute joke.

What variant is your Sig 365? It looks to me that you are shooting an Sig 365 XL. I own both a 365X and an XL version which I converted to a P 365 X TACOPS. The larger frame makes it much easier to handle the recoil and the longer 3.7” barrel seems to have a much better accuracy with point of impact, and I am able to have much tighter groups. So again, which variant are you using in this demonstration and, if you’re having issues with the grip why do you prefer it as your EDC?

I was thinking of setting up one of my m1 carbines as a home defense gun. I have a couple i take out to shoot that are arsenal rebuilds with mixed parts that aren’t correct as far as collector grade goes. Prob just buy all new springs to make sure it’s fresh and ready to go. Perfect gun for California due to not having banned features and it’s not “tactical” or a hated ar-15.

Glad he included and demonstrated magazine issues too. I am more of a revolver guy, so of course a round in each chamber. DAO revolver so no hammer to get hung up on anything and long trigger pull is my safety combined with good holster. Cuts out all the rack and tap nonsense from get go. My primary is a 357 and I carry a Sig P365 9mm as backup. The Sig has no safety same as the revolver. However, it has a very light trigger in comparison. I carry the Sig without a chambered round. I sometimes carry a 38 special as primary and a ruger lcp 380 first generation semi auto as backup with a round chambered as this gun has a long trigger pull. In all cases the primary is a dead simple revolver and will probably never have to use it in my lifetime and likely to not even expend all rounds. However, faster than reloading the revolver is using the backup semi auto if it comes down to it. Anyone can pick apart someones carry concept easily, its what you desire and are confident with. That being said 5 rounds of 357 as my first responder and no racking or safety to disengage at a moments notice wins in my mind. Your mind is different because we are all different and that's okay. I have plenty of reserve capacity with the backup semi auto guns.

Excellent review….. Taurus has had some slight issues with the g2c with trigger reset or the two stage that old heads would call it…. Now at 2024 that issue has been resolved, the first gen 709 slim would do the same.

This is wrong advice folks waaaay wrong ! The ar15 or any other firearm doesn’t need that much lube. Look up Gunblue490 for the correct way to clean and lube an AR15 platform. This generation has it totally wrong.

@Carry trainer let use some LOGIC shall we...in my opinion people are always going to disagree regarding & always argue about what they think is right or wrong...so let's just use the "rules" or so call rules of the game to make the argument... One of the gun rules is not to point the gun towards something u Don't intent to destroy...the barrel of the gun is pointing towards your wee-wee also femoral artery, legs & feet that's the reason why your (opinion) about carry on empty camber... It's obvious your not stupid it's commun sense...comun sense & logic tells u that if for whatever reason u have a Negligent discharge taking the gun OUT of holster u take shot your legs, femoral artery or worst your PEE-PEE... Also carrying a gun on an empty chamber is useless when the bad guy is not a metal target 10 feet away but a Bad guy next to you holding a knife & u don't have time to do your 3 second fancy move that u practiced 1000 times without a bad guy next to you...the bottom line and my opinion is this to carry a gun on an empty chamber is useless like carrying a condom with a hole in it and I would never point a gun towards my dick if it has one of the chamber.

Micky, I took a class with you last summer and I’m looking forward to taking another next time you’re in my area. My question is about lead poison. I saw your video on the subject and feel like I do more than most shooters. I shoot mostly outside (but not exclusively), use lead wipes, shower after shooting, wear gloves when I clean my guns, etc., but I recently tested high for lead. How do you and others who shoot a lot stay safe? I shoot about 800 rounds a week. Is it simply that I have to shoot less? Thanks

metal generally doesn't heat or cool evenly. Hot spots develop and grow until they connect but certain areas of the metal will always be hotter than others. When the metal cools the hot spots shrink until they disconnect and disappear.
