Thanks for bringing her on. Definitely have some things to chew on. No matter what happens in the next few days, we have to remember that we are Americans and even with all the differences, we are all more alike then we are different.

That rhetoric is why we are where we are. While that was true for a long period of time that is not the case anymore. Simply not accepting the Founding Principles as were Founded is enough to justify what "they" would and will do to you given the chance. And I believe, I hope I'm wrong, but I believe the enemy (a very specific group) ARE GOING TO STEAL THE PRES., HOUSE AND SENATE this election cycle. Know the enemy and you will understand. This group knows from at least the last 2 election cycles that The Good People are all talk and no action. Well, some action - voting or "swamp the vote", "too big to rig". Laughable and you will see in the next week or so. And please do not reference polls. Because the 1st criminal you are going to hear from after the steal is hillary. And she is going to remind you how the polls were wrong about her in 2016.

Great and much needed discussion. We need more of this as it spurs civic virtual by involving people in thinking about what it means to be, and positively acting as, good citizens. There are pragmatic steps that can be taken to improve citizens' confidence in elections - in person voting, paper ballot, and voter ID. Also, I wish you had discussed election interference. Trust in elections is essential! Need to have her back on!

I’m with George Carlin on this one. It’s actually if you vote, you have no right to complain.

Sorry, I haven't watched yet but will try to watch the vid today. But I do have a comment based on the title. I have become a, Pre-Revolution and Revolution, American history buff since 2020. Voraciously reading books, bios, articles, and letters from the period's and of the period's. The one thing I have to say prior to watching your vid is this - No matter what Rights, Laws or Rules you may believe are natural, God given, moral and ethical, and/or devised by humans, there is only one way to Protect them and/or Enforce them. That is by physical action with the same tools of protection that the military and LE use. The saying, "The Pen is mightier than the sword" is only true until The Good People decide it isn't. The Bad People, a relatively small percentage, can and do, wield enormous power if The Good People allow them to only checked by "election's". Election's are not always enough.

@fmyles3 tell me more about this as I too am a student of history.

@@CarryTrainer 1st let me say this - I believe that the upcoming "election(s)" are going to be stolen, and it will be a trifecta steal - pres., house and senate. I literally have zero confidence in this election. Polls shmolls, my jewish friend says. I believe one of the first that we are going to hear from in msm (if you watch that sh*t) is going to be Hillary, reminding us of how she lost while leading in the polls. And I should also say that I have very close to zero confidence that We, The Good People will do what will be required to correct the mischief. One last thing to add is that my absolute hero of the Revolutionary war is by far and away Samuel Adams. And that brings me to my mention of "physical action" in the previous post. The saying, "the pen is mightier than the sword" is true .... UNTIL it isn't. And that "isn't" occurs when the masses overcome their ignorance, however that may occur. Throughout history it has occurred over time, usually longer than you would think it should take and then some stars align or Divine Intervention; a shot heard round the world, a Steve Bannon, an Elon Musk, an RFK jr., a Tucker, a Rogan, Somali leaders in Minneapolis, etc., etc., etc. Or the calculus of them all. As a student of history yourself, I'm sure that you understand that "Thuggery" is always necessary for real change. The other side always does their thuggery by pen and the people's treasure and the people's blood in many cases. In this country it is by pen and reward of the people's treasure. Politician's getting filthy rich on relatively meager salaries. Enough said, I know you understand. If the trifecta steal happens or even if "they" let "the people" have Trump without the house and senate and WE, all of us, know that it is mischief, lies and cunning but we fail to immediately take the necessary action to undo their falsehoods then WE shall lose the country, as founded and intended, forever. This is for ALL the marbles and if you understand who the enemy is then you understand that the trifecta steal is the course of action.

Yeah. She lost me right at the very beginning. But I’m gonna give it a fair listen and give her a chance.

Lost you how? What good is anything if we approach everyone as if we know more than them? Could it not be that we can learn?
@CitizenCarrier21 күн бұрын
@ Really? What did I say to make you think I was inferring that I knew more than she does? Can’t I have a different viewpoint without being accused of thinking I know more than someone? When we talk politics it can get much more involved and make for too long of a comment to get into everything we may disagree with or even agree with on a comment section. But I want to watch the entire thing first. I have to watch it in pieces because I am doing a couple different things at the moment. It’s possible that my initial comment was incorrect from my initial impression. If so, I will definitely say so.

Your statement seemed pretty clear. What did I miss?

@@CarryTrainer I’m still trying to figure out which part of my comment made you accuse me of me thinking I know more than she does. You said it was clear to you. Since I made the comment and know what I meant, tell me. I’ll admit I made the comment within the first 5 and a half minutes without listening to the entire video. I really wanted to watch it in one sitting. But the honey do list at the end of a long work day prevented that. I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful. It was just an initial though at a couple of things where I had a different point of view. Not that “I know more than she does”. I clearly said I wanted to give it a fair listen and give her a chance. Meaning that maybe my initial thought of having a different point of view might be incorrect and it could clear it up for me. Seems like an open minded and fair thing to do. Again, the last thing I was trying to do was be disrespectful to you, her or your channel since I really enjoy your content. What happens sometimes in typed comments is a loss of inflection and can make the reader take it a completely different way than it was meant. Something even a seasoned author struggles with. And I ain’t no seasoned writer. Which is why I prefer conversing and sharing ideas and even debating differences face to face instead of a comment section. Not only that, as you can tell by this comment, it can lead to a painfully long comment just trying to correct one small incorrect assumption.
