didnt see any release... the shark ist still hooked at the end of the vid. great whites are a protected species, don´t get it why to fish on them. im an angler/fisherman as well, but thats sad to see

"Didnt see any release" ...you think i went home and put him on the grill, maybe with a side of bald eagle?
@lars-fenin7 күн бұрын
@@OutcastSportFishing ....:) na.. but the title is misleading theres no release in the vid. and i guess a shark this big all you can do ist cut the line.
@OutcastSportFishing5 күн бұрын
@@lars-fenin the release part i thought was kinda obvious. Not only is it a highly protected species, how am i going to get a 15ft great white in the boat? Thanks for watching i guess.

“Catch and release” is pretty liberal usage of the phrase 😂 More like “cut and release.” I’d have done the same!
Oh so male great whites can get as big as the females 😉

When I lived on Parris island right across the bay from Hilton head we used to catch some gnarly sharks almost every day. 8 foot was the biggest. Right off the pier.

Day before my birthday in January I hooked one in 1994 and got it to the boat to see it in all its glory for a couple minutes. Only me and my friend on the boat. It was about 9' to 10'. I was laughed at and called a liar, so I eventually quit telling my story out of embarrassment. Kinda feel vindicated now that you have been catching them. It's insane the ridicule I experienced for telling people.

❤🤗🦈 I love all that you and your crew do Chip. You are a beautiful inspiration to many, and those sharks you have helped to save. My story began watching jaws for the first time at 7 years old. I wasn't scared like most; instead, I cried when I saw the tiger shark on that hook and post. Then, at the end. My mother asked me why I was crying for a monster that kills people. I said to her because they have a life too mom. Since then, my passion grew. I was limited to knowledge as we are talking 1977. Throughout the years, I kept seeking knowledge in libraries and the trials of life vhs tapes narrated by David Attenbourough. Just 10 years later, technicalogical advances offered us "Shark Week." Now at 51 and many, many years of self education and recently obtaining my Dive cert. My dream has become a reality.
