Still can’t figure out the canbus, I connected to the canbus direct but i don’t think it’s connected to the head unit correctly. Can you shed any light on that connection.

That’s the biggest buildup of oil sludge in the engine bay, well I mean where the splash shield is located at. Doesn’t look like the previous owner cleaned the engine bay often.

A longer breaker bar with a ratcheting mechanism, makes this much easier. That big nut of the tool should be on the front. A few taps with a rubber mallet on the bearing to insure it's in straight.

You can use a puller to extract the bearing race from the oil pan. The cv joint to the intermediate shaft should not wear. Its probably a bad cv joint or the intermediate shaft bearing is bad. Good luck buy no need to seal the shaft to the cv chalice no way any debris goes in there but hey if you think so....

This is so so helpful. I have a different android radio that has all the similar stuff but the instructions are bad or is for a newer Benz with plug in play. I have a 2003 e320. They only wire that i havent connected is wire from canbus box to cars can system. Also my decoder does not have 2 green wires. Only red wire labeled ACC.
