yours is certainly one of the best demos of this pedal i have come across so far, you know how to use it and play with an octave pedal (no sloppy fast playing or slapping)

I don't think classic mode is exactly like the MK1 unfortunately. I haven't been able to reproduce the ring mod effect of the MK1 on the MKII :(

Excellent playing young man. I was the touring bassist for The Miracles for several years and got to sit in Jamerson’s chair for a while. You do a good job on a difficult line. I also love this pedal. I’m going to go demo it. I use an Ampeg SCR DI right now for ampless gigs and hard to beat it for the Motown sound in a pedal but this one is worth a look.

Which one passes the low end through the best? Any that don't? For instance I have a keeley compressor plus (not specifically a bass compressor) and it filters out a lot of low end.

Julia stands out to me. Versatility and more dynamic. I think it would be better in a mix. Live or otherwise. I have a CE-2 but never used it on my bass. Which now I intend to do. I’m playing bass in a band now and recently picked up an Ampeg liquifier, which is pretty sweet. But that Julia is calling my wallet.

Thorough job! This isn't so much a question about the different pieces of gear, but when you're playing a song, how do you decide when to use your low B string vs. when to use your sub-octave?
