Have good graphics but.. isn't for me.

HLL is dead for me from the day the T17 bought it. Not in the meaning of players number (which is debatable since communication between players is getting worse and worse, which is same as talking to myself) but the content and roadmaps. HLL don't stick to the roadmaps and literally do shit. They even fucked up brits fraction twice. Instead of making high quality content, optimising the game or literally doing anything productive they are making tons of paid dlc's to "support them" (the game itself is getting more and more expensive btw). What am I supposed to suport fwith that money?

What's main difference between this one and hell let lose

my number one problem in this game is simply spotting the enemy as infantry. its just too hard for me, I struggle a lot. I know to drop and watch for movement, etc., but it seems to rarely work. It's very frustrating.

bruh why does every ww2 game make always pacific afrika italy and other fronts but never the easternfront much more interesting imo the pure scale of it not saying pacific will be bad or something just bored of it

I can attest to the HLL community being good with noob's (like myself) I asked my squad lead about building nodes, my s/l stopped attacking the opposition to assist me in building nodes correctly. Solid dudes in the HLL community, an amazing game as well.

I really want the Battle of Manila because it is not only a rarity in the Pacific Theater it being an urban engagement and isn't shown alot in most forms of entertainment and even history books

Can't wait to experience the pacific theatre at an astonishing 30fps! These devs need to optimise their game before releasing more content.

I can't wait to see it.. I pray this game will get some more visible promotion though because the only obvious problem that remains is getting players in. They've done great work really COMPLETING this game. It would just be a shame if they can't figure out how to get people involved.

Might actually play Squad 44 if they add Japanese before HLL does.

Thanks for the update, you mentioned that the US Pacific faction would mainly use 1903 Springfields but Iwo Jima was fought in early 1945 so we can expect pretty much the same kit we see currently (Garands, M1919A6 etc) but maybe we get some Shotguns, Flamethrower thrown in. However, some early war maps (Guadalcanal, Tarawa) using those the older OOB would be refreshing.

I played the HD1 back in 1999, and replayed both HD 1 and 2 more than 1 time last few years.

I'll play this game when the player base is equal to HLL. The current monthly chart is less than 500 players. Not worth it in my opinion.

I fail to understand why people call "shooting bad" when a game does not have a ton of "realistic recoil". First off, I dont want ANY recoil to effect my View Point. That is not how ANY gun works. When I fire a heavy recoil handgun, my EYES dont go towards the sky, my GUN jumps upwards. If you want "realistic" then make the "gun mechanics" different by making the spread change if you hold down fire. Making my entire viewscreen JUMP UPWARDS just give me a headache. The exact point in space my EYES focus on when I am firing a real gun does NOT change while I am firing, its the barrel of the gun that moves around and THAT is what I should be controlling, not my entire head. so FFS stop referring to the recoil system we have in computer games "realistic". Powerwash Simulator has a more realistic view system, as you can detach what you are "shooting" at from what you are "looking at", and if the wash hose had "recoil" to it and moved around and had to controlled, Powerwash Simulator would be more realistic than ARMA.

I moved from HLL to Squad44 about a month ago - absolutely love it (aside from the low player count). The thing that really drove me from HLL in the end was the degradation in the quality of the squads (no comms, running and gunning etc) but more than all that, the sheer volume of cheaters on there now. I know people are in some sort of denial about it but having played since early access I know what I'm seeing and experiencing as a reasonably good player. It's hideous. So far on Squad44 I haven't seen anything suspicious.... no getting shot whilst behind walls or miles away behind all sorts of objects, no 'floating invisible gunmen' no ESP stuff nonsense..... I'm done. Oh and the MG mounting in Squad44, whilst not perfect, is a whole world away from the almost impossible, frustrating nightmare it is in HLL.... will they EVER fix that!?

I'm not buying this game specifically because I am afraid of them adding the Infantry Overhaul from Squad into Squad 44. I am not signing up to play a suppression simulator.

Biggest problem with this game is a lack of servers for regions that aren't US or Europe. Can't pick many roles while playing with 250 ping.

One of my all time favorite games, it's really good. One single kill in this game is worth 20 in other games, really satisfying

I gave up on the game, I swear I tried, but it's so poorly made that it's practically impossible to play solo (I like playing solo). Impossible NPCs, player campers who wait for you at extraction sites and the horrible gameplay made me give up. I purchased the premium and founder pass. I asked for a refund and they refused. Now I have a shit game that doesn't do me any good. NEVER buy this game. It is the second game from this developer that they have released, but they never finish it. You will forever be in early access. It's torturous to play this game.

such a great game and a travesty it hasn't had a re-master or HD3. I think it would be possible to crowd fund the rights to the game and make it happen!

I don't blame them for taking down bluedrakes video, as the video pushes the idea of modding, which may lead to more hacking or the use of a cracked launcher to get the game for free. Also this doesn't remotely mean that their developers are terrible, they just thought a video would hurt their already bad state and they rightfully took it down.

Obviously pc, console recoil if far greater.

The fg42 is way underrated and definitely under used gun... as for me I dig the $h!t outta the fg42 and it's a beast needs more ammo for sure

Haven't used any paid dlc, never do. This game is brilliant. Just slogged my way to lv6 rifleman which took a while. Even without that its an awesome game. Get good with what you have and you will with time. Some games are just epic and others im on a shit team that doesn't work well together and basically get fragged the whole way but i still enjoy it.
