Well, scuttlebutt about the "not possible" thing is that apparently BM didn't really give a fuck and the console version was a contract stipulation for the T17 takeover. Hence they only did the bare minimum. Can't say I blame them, they always said that they do not care for a console release.

One minor but very annoying bug - you can't sort by ping on PC. Also had UE4 crash during a game for the first time in a while.

I don't hate Team 17. They're just caught between priorities. More weapons and maps! Fix bugs! Fix console limitations! Fix arty/recon loop! Historically accurate weapons/uniforms. Fix old maps! Fix tanks! Pacific theatre Vs Italian! More Soviets, no not those ones! It would be difficult. Especially as everyone rates all those differently.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this... Apart from people on console, this update is a whole lot of nothing. I'm an original Kickstarter backer and stopped playing as I'm actually bored of the same maps (mostly US Vs German). Apart from Mortain, T17 hasn't actually added any content. I'll stick to S44 I think, better Devs, better community and huge amount of variety.

What's needed is new maps, lots of it! All we got is D-Day focused maps.. be unique and add maps featuring Germany, aside from Cologne / Ruhr area and Berlin which has been done 1000000000 times. Southern Germany maps would be such a cool thing to see in a game like this. Munich, Stuttgart, Berchtesgaden. And more vehicles. Especially famous ones like the StuG III G, Hellcat (M-18), SU-85, Churchill Crocodile.

I wish they could add some sort of matchmaking system additional to the server browser. Because every time I get to play this game, all I see is full servers with large queues. The queue sometimes gets buggy and disconnects many times.

@@skag_mcmuffin87 I’m not sure what you’re talking about, it works perfectly fine on console, I’ve never had any issues on the Xbox with selecting servers. You probably don’t have the “Show Official” server filter on.

Sure this is good news, but it's hardly going to save the game, especially if you're a PC player, like most of the community. Remember that in the last year we've have had one new map, and of course it's a US map even though the other factions are obviously in dire need of more content. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect more from them. With how neglectful they've been, I honestly believe that they're going to abandon support in the next year. I obviously don't want this, but they're clearly not passionate about the game. I do believe in supporting devs when they do things we like, but I can't bring myself to care about a console server browser.

Will they ever fix the bug that makes choosing a garrisson annoying when there are other teams' OPs near it? One needs to zoom all the way in to be able to click on it. And then you see 1 turn into 40...

the game really needs Soviat/German and Brits/German maps, i think each faction should have atleast 5 maps before the devs decide to asd another faction or make another map for existing ones, It kinda sucks how soviets have only three and brits have just two while USA has like 8 or 9 and they maps for USA keep on coming -_- 9 maps sre enough

I get where all the bitter comments are coming from from ppl who’ve had the game for several years. I’ve had it since last January or so, but frankly the server browser has absolutely saved this game. I’ve never had so many full matches in 700 hours before the server browser dropped. It’s a shame it took so long, but it’s here, and the game is alive again

Uhhhh guys? Help? One of my ps5 controllers just up and died. It works on the main screen but when I load any game or app like Netflix or KZbin it just doesn’t work no buttons are broken inputting. Tried resetting it on the back and every fix I saw on KZbin nothin… 😞 it crapped out during HLL

This idea of server browsers and private servers for consoles is a NO F*CKING BRAINER that should have been done from day 1. Black Matter F’d up by not doing it, then they doubled down by not listening to the community after we BEGGED them for it. T17 should have come in and made this THEIR TOP PRIORITY. Is this a win? Yeah but not in the way you think. I will say this, I did expect this update to also come with a myriad of game breaking bugs but so far it’s not been like their normal 2 steps forward 1 step back kind of release.

I've not been able to join a game via the server browser. I refresh, it says there are spaces, but i still get denied or told I'm in a queue. The official servers are also not listed properly, you can't sort it by region, so I'll get 1 or 2 official servers within my region, and 10 that aren't suitable. It needs working 100%.

So the huge win is a server browser that lets me filter servers by WEATHER but I still can't choose server regions. I can get rid of rain maps, but still have Uncle Li's Bejing Noodle Paradise with their 400 ping potato server in the list. T17's decision process continues to amaze me.

You guys in the comments are so negative against HLL ( not everyone ) which I understand some of you are moving on or just switching games like jumping into Squad 44 and becoming one of the around 600 players in a 24 hour time or so and yeah good for you , but although the game is going downhill and we can see the recent updates about it , still something is something , even Squad 44 died and has been revived again. We dont know what happens behind the scenes so that also includes T17. I cannot predict the future and neither do you guys. Pls do me a favor and stop hating about the game you all played and loved before jumped to Squad 44 or Battlefield or whatever. I also am disapointed from the results of T17 and I also still play it here and there with friends , as many other people throughout steam or Xbox gamepass. I am not saying that there is still hope, but who knows .

Deviating into console territory, although has its merits, was an initial big mistake by BM, taking away their resources on focusing on pertinent in-game issues on PC way back when. T17 made massive promises on implementing dynamic weather, new maps, new factions. Gentlemen, are you aware that T17 has owned the rights to HLL for almost 3 years now? There have been more delays and less content than when BM was holding the reigns, and albeit, they at least did a great job. This update is a joke, and the fact big T is stroking T17, AFTER the fact they told him to take his videos down grilling the same game no more than a month ago, is beyond me. WE the community, need to band together, and stop being complacent with the decisions these studios are making. Stop playing and supporting this game. - Your lovely 3K hour, 5 year veteran, and early supporter.

Mate, console server browser is massive for the console community. Clans can now rent servers and players can choose the game they want to join. Console servers have been plagued with clans taking over servers and kicking public players. This should alleviate a whole bunch of issues and help grow the competitive scene. This is not clickbait.
