Amazing singer and musician. "I Believe in Father Christmas" is my absolute favourite Christmas song. His chord choices evoke Renaissance/Baroque harpsichord tones. What an absolute legend. His like has or is on the verge of disappearing forever.

Hamburgers and fries don't lie. It's too bad how some guys fill out like this with weight gain. It's never healthy. Such a legend.

I was in a crowded concert and everything went dead silent. Greg Lake sat on a barstool and played an acoustic guitar sang "You Still Turn Me On" had the whole place mesmerized. 🎸🎶🎵🎆💥🌛

Saw The Roots live in 2006 in Birmingham, England. They dropped a version of Jimi Hendrix' Machine Gun, and Kirk absolutely tore it apart. At one point he had the guitar on his shoulder with the neck pointing into the audience like a gun, and through some inhuman contortion, was still somehow managing to wring realistic machine gun noises out it while miming spraying the crowd with bullets. The friend I'd taken along with me hated hip hop (that's why I persuaded him to experience The Roots), and when I side-eyed him after that performance, his jaw was literally hanging open. I don't know what my friend was expecting, but he **certainly** wasn't expecting that! 😆

I was 10 in 1972 and most certainly remember "From The Beginning" from the guitar alone. But it left no major impression on me. However listening now? What a beautiful song. I cant stop listening. Ill listen until i burn it out as i did with "And You And I" (Yes), speaking of which, the Beginning of these two songs are similar. Anyone else notice that? But now? Even though i was only 10 i wonder how i missed the beauty of this song!

I'm a musician but I never could afford a nice guitar. I had an ovation but I loaned it to my friend and he sold it for 50.00 bucks. I never forgave him for that. I've thought about Fender or Martin but I totally forgot about Gibson this happened in 1980. I'm almost 70 I'm hopping I can sing like Barny Mack for Jesus Christ before the second comming?
