I just saw him perform at Tipitina's last Saturday night, and George Porter Jr. perform at the Maple Leaf 2 days later.

Great interview! Leo seems just like I would have expected - humble, smart, matter of fact, a musician as opposed to just a guitarist. Surprising that it's a 175 on all the Josie stuff! That his seminal influences were jazz guys? Not surprising at all, for the reasons given. I hope that's still true today.
