Great stories! But we knew that the original creators of BioWare were masters at telling stories and it is great to see them continuing to advance the gaming industry! <3

I wanna know what exactly makes the Celestials gain a disdain for their ancestral human ancestors... you'd think that they'd have a reverence for their ancient brothers and sisters seeing as it was them that yes, destroyed Earth but they also provided salvation for their whole race. So I wonder why they just hate them so much. They surely couldn't have lost ALL knowledge of their human forefathers 🤔🤔

Great presentation! Did you adduce this on your own or get this by connecting all the lore in the game? For myself I am still baffled by the Red Lyrium. If the Blue Lyrium is the blood or “spirit” of the Titans, what and from where comes the Red Lyrium? Just Blighted Blue Lyrium? But I thought the Blight originated in the separation of the Titans from their spirits? How can the blood of the Titans, “Blue Lyrium” become Red Lyrium unless it is infected by something else? Is the rage of the Titans a physical, material thing that infected the Blue Lyrium, or is it a spiritual thing? Is Red Lyrium separate from Blue Lyrium or is it infected Blue Lyrium? Is Darkspawn blood 🩸 the agent that turns Blue Lyrium Red? Who created the Darkspawn? The Magisters by their invasion of the Black City or the Archdemons ? Still a whole lot that is puzzling.

Wow. This is probably the heaviest cyberpunk analysis ive listened to. You did an amazing job and had me in tears through most of it here at the gym lol. Amazing video... wow. Ive been writing my own cyberpunk fanfic for like 6 months now due to the affect this game had on me. And its just truly amazing to hear how its affected you in such a deeply personal way thats completely different to me. The significance of this games narratives and themes continue to blow me away day after day. Thank you so much for this video. It was seriously well made.. my god. Thank you.

The ending of Mass Effect ruined the entire series for me. Let us be honest, bad writing, is bad writing. I never bought into the indoctrination theory, but it made far better sense than what we got.

Game looks interesting...that said...given how the gaming business is to day...I will keep my anticipate in check. Not too keen on all the "spiritual successor to Mass Effect" referencews for several reasons...one:...I want this game to be its own thing....and two: Mass Effect is my favorite game IP of all time ...which sadly is done...and can never be redone....whatever politically correct crap current Bioware comes out with next might have Mass Effect in it name but it will not be Mass Effect.

God I hope they get this right. This franchise is too good to be at the mercy of a bunch of bad writers and producers.

I mean, might be a dumb opinion here, but... technically we have only seen dead reapers, and alive geth. We havent seen alive Reapers... so they could still be kicking around if Bioware chooses the a non-control or non-destroy ending. Edit: Also Im sure Bioware has kinda screw themselves either way they play it.

I hate to be the 🤓☝️ "Uhm Ackshually" person, but in Inquisition, when you're doing the constellation puzzles, They reference that the pre-Tevinter humans (forgot their name) came to Thedas from further north. Humans aren't a native race.

I remember way back in 2010 after Origins was launched, there was a theory written by a fan about this on reddit, that the Elven Pantheon might also be the Archdemons/Old Gods and that the fade is way under the deep roads and that the Golden City/Black City is in the deep roads.

I agree with your points heavily. But one of my main issues with Andromeda is not only are the companions lacking but the cast of side characters, aside from like two maybe three, were grossly and annoying infuriating. The "leaders" of the initiative were so unqualified that it was unbelievable and its hard to be more pointless than the council. And on the armors I liked them but from ME2 and ME3 they nailed the armor designs far more. And personally wish we could have casual wear like Ariya lol
@Evamaster4562 күн бұрын
100% agree with you. I liked, but didn’t love, Veilguard and when I got my hands on the art book I also felt a strange sense of both disappointment and mourning. DA has been one of my favorite RPG series and the question of what might have been if Joplin had been fully developed will likely be one of the big gaming “what ifs” for me. I was impressed with the technical soundness of Veilguard at launch, a huge upgrade from ME:A, but I feel like along the way the soul of DA (it’s strong writing, characters, and world building) was either lost or amputated to get the game out the door. I hope the next Mass Effect is good, truly, but I can’t shake this feeling of wariness when it comes to their future. Hopefully with time this is something that improves.

Though I actually really enjoyed Veilguard, I agree with all of this. DA2 was my first game and it was my favorite until Veilguard. I truly wish they had more depth for everything with the companions and choices, but again..this was rebooted 3 damn times. I’m willing to give this soft reboot grace and have better hope for DA5.

I think the biggest problem here is that Mass effect was never suppose to continue beyond 3 games. This was always suppose to be a Trilogy, Shepard Story, your story. your choices, your ending. The endings are there to end the war for good. Since this was always about Organics vs Synthetics, the endings do make sense. If you think about it, from the beginning, we (the players) have been pushed towards killing the reapers. In mass effect 2, the illusive man talked about controlling them. But since he was the bad guy, this was more or less seen as ramblings of a madman. StarChild pushing for Synthesis also makes sense seen as the other options for StarChild are dying or being replaced so dying. But what ever you choose, the war is over. Either because you choose destroy and all reapers are killed. No more harvests because reapers are dead. But eventually there will be a new was so I guess in the end will rule the galaxy. Or you choose control and your Shepard controls the reapers so no more harvest. Or you choose synthesis and that changes all organics and synthetics. The reapers won't be harvesting anymore because we are all one new race, unified through synthesis.

The saddest thing about Jackie to me is that he wanted so desperately to be somebody important, to make an impact. But the thing is he did matter, to his mom, to his girlfriend, to his teachers, to his fellow gangsters in the Valentinos, to his best friend... Jackie was somebody important. His life mattered to them and he never saw that

Idk if that's true. Wouldn't SAM rebel against the AI? They state in the game that SAM needs Ryder to maintain its own existence. If that's to be believed, Alec Ryder solved the AI issue.

It's too bad that it wasn't revealed yet that Solas is Shartan and he helped Andraste (most likely a one time vessel for Mythal) free the elven slaves and defeat the Tevinter imperium.
@CanadianMoose2724 күн бұрын
I wonder if it looks different up close in Solas's Crossroads memories? You would think it would be golden in his memories pre-Veil, but it doesn't look like it from what we can see in game, although it's hard to see without fly cam because it's foggy. Also, it's interesting to note that the only gods' symbols we see here belong to Dirthamen, Sylaise and Elgar'nan (according to the data mined files that showed the names).
@Redfield19964 күн бұрын
For me that is a problem. A franchise must be more homogeneous. Starting with its combat system. Without a doubt, turning it into a GOW of temu has been a huge mistake. Things cannot be done following the trends of the moment. That's simply not going to work. Veilguard has turned DA into something else. In Origins, DA2 and Inquisition you had control over your character, your companions and a tactical way of approaching combat, as well as a shared inventory. We also have the serious, realistic and dark tone of its environment and narrative. Something that in Vielguard is absent or only appears at certain times. Decisions and their consequences are also something important that is present in the first three installments, as well as how this affects the state of the world and that you could import from one game to another. So yes, Dragon Age has an identity or at least some common elements on which to forge one. And Veilguard has wasted them or has preferred to be something different.

I love ME:A, I want it to have its own trilogy. But I also think it'd be really cool to have some kind of dual protagonist stories, one you play as Ryder from ME:A, the other you play as 600-years-older Liara. And their stories converge, and the path finder can finally meet the person whose voicelogs they keeps hearing.
