257 - 2 1/8 on L 1 1/8 on the H another thing Ive seen is the intake/isolator clogged or upside down so the fuel pump doesnt work right. air leaks, bad diaphram. it did sit all winter, right? if he didnt drain the carb that could be it.

black water jackets do not fit 36mm cylinders. that is a 34mm cylinder, if it has a +1 crank it would be a 27cc.
