Paul states he can use existing equity on his home to pay its mortgage for three years before needing to make payments with his own money. If he's using a HELOC, he had better check the contract. Many won't extend you any more credit if you become unemployed. Some will even force repayment of any existing HELOC loan balance if your income level has significantly declined from when you originally arranged for the HELOC. Banks don't like fraud either. Saying in a video that you are going to lie to your Bank (as he said he could) is extremely foolish. Banks don't care if paying it back your line of credit means you'll have to sell the house. Despite his equity, Banks also are unlikely to lend him any more money if he lacks the income to support all his debt payments.

My take: KZbin went belly-up because the luxury watch bubble has burst. This is indicative of larger macro-economic trends. There are very many more folks who will soon be in precisely the same boat as old mate Archie here. When he Ubers/delivers pizzas, he will be competing with kids that have no overheads and no families. Good luck with that. His vanity and ostentation means that he will now become a massive burden to not only his wife, but also his kids.
