First I acquired a two-story apartment. Another two bedrooms flat - to rent it out and keep as a starter for my kids. Keep investing into my own IT company business. Buying only 3-4 y.o. BMW 5 series and wearing humble Breitling SOH2 on my wrist. Thanks to god I’ve never listened your advices😂

I have a PAM48 and a 49. I alternate them for work and other. The white dial is more legible when your eyes deteriorate. Now as for dogs Arch, there is a reason why the canine sniffs another’s arse. He’s looking to see if the next one has something better. A lot like the ramblings of a watch reviewer.

A HELOC doesn’t allow you to access your equity. If it did, you wouldn’t need to pay it back. The best way to access equity is to sell your home, buy a cheaper one, and pocket the difference.

Considering his father is a retired accountant and the other son Daniel is now running 'Pluta Accounting' in Brisbaine, Archie must either be soft in the head or this is just click bait.

HELOC is a last resort, it's not free money and you accrue interest on the balance. It is better than credit card or loan shark but a good chunk of people will have savings, investments or liquid assets to use during down periods. In your case, more sensible to sell a watch or two.

Use an Emergency fund. Not a Heloc.
@Makingnewnamesisdumb

Why couldn't a heloc be an emergency fund? As long as you use it sensibly and mostly for home related emergencies there's nothing wrong with it.
@danlopez.3592
@danlopez.3592 3 сағат бұрын
@@Makingnewnamesisdumb because an emergency fund is cash set aside for emergencies not a loan that must be paid back with interest. Defeats the purpose. Why not just have the cash

If you buy because you understand the brand and like the watch , it’s time to buy now. If you want to flip, resale at profit, it’s a bad move. It ain’t gonna happen the resale market is dead

Archie LUX. Im gonna first off apologise. Years ago I took the piss but I gotta say you were so ahead of the curve when you did those videos on town business centres closing down. Dont get me wrong I could give a donkeys about watch collecting but I will give you that....and no-one listened right now it's the whole world going down the sh*tter! People sell your worthless horological time capsules and buy food!

I’d say these watches are decent and nothing wrong if they are inexpensive. As long as you like the watch, that’s what matters. I recommend anything less that $2000 you can get a nice mechanical Longines, Tissot, or even some nice Seiko divers. If you want iconic, the Seiko Turtle Prospex divers are a good choice. There are also some vintage Omegas you can buy. Again buy what you like, and don’t buy something to show off or to get an expensive timepiece into debt. I’ve had more enjoyment wearing lower and mid tier than an expensive watch. Whatever makes you happy is what matters.

Comparing an omega speedmaster to ANY Cartier is like comparing a jackhammer to a steak knife. Just completely different genres and use cases. Compare a tank to another dress watch at least
