I ordered a pair of Heritage Nomands in black with the added-on Vibram sole only to find that these boots are like oversized rubber boots. They are not suited for warmer climate areas. DieVier does not allow returns on custom boots. Do yourself a solid and over a pair to try on first.

Been walking around with my Truman boots for a bit, but man I feel like these soles would make them so much more comfortable to me. I work in a data center and these commando style soles really arent the best for flat hard surfaces.

There's gotta be a catch to those Crush On Retro boots. Are they ethically made? Does anyone know anything about the actual makers of those? My conversations with Jimmy at the company gave me the impression that they are simply acting as the middle man. I really want to know because I am seriously considering trying them.

What color triggers are those? Are they the C shade? I’m buying online and I’m having trouble finding good comparisons between C shade, acorn, and marron

Great video Dale explaining the differences! It's interesting to note your observations about the color changes the Shell Cordovan may experience due to natural ageing and exposure to air...

In which video do you mention going to a cobblers and they were all wearing the same brand boots? What was the brand? (I think it was Grant Stone).

Please provide a review of the best engineer boots for individuals with low-volume feet that offer minimal heel slippage.
@DalesLeatherworks7 күн бұрын
That's a great question, most engineers have a generous heel and sometimes heel slip is unavoidable unfortunately. Your best bet is sizing correctly, probably through the custom process , and possibly finding a thick enough sock to prevent it. It’s more art than science.

Caswell made to order, ONLY, if you feet only come in D, E, EE WIDTHS. Made to order means made to fit your feet even if your left foot is a 8 C and your right is 9 1/2 A or anywhere in between!

I been watching both your guys videos for years now. I always had a sneaking suspicion Ashwin was in the healthcare field just based terminology he would use in his videos. Lots of words you just don't hear used very often anywhere else.

$702 now. I have a pair and so far, they are feeling very good under foot and very sturdy. I have not had any issues with slippery outsoles. Feels like a grippier leather outsole to me. It truly does have a unique feeling when wearing them. I think the 405s may be the best shape for my foot out of all my boots (16 pairs from various companies).

Awesome video!!!! Thanks for the shout out boys!!!!! It comes down to tight grained leather which determines the way it rolls or creases. Also the spring toed boots will have much less creases because they roll with your step and decrease the bending of the boots in the vamp. Well done 👍🏻 kudos to both of you.

For me, Ashwin's content has turned out to be quite inspirational. I've purchased several pairs of boots from makers I hadn't purchased from before, after seeing his videos. I've found he's responsive and helpful when asked questions on the Instagram platform. A great guy to have in this boot community, for sure. I don't have his purchasing power, but I take note of what he's doing and will use his recommendations when I can.

I discovered Kreosote boots too late in life to live long enough to purchase a pair. Too bad Viberg only caters to people with E width feet as do most only cater to D width feet. In the 60’s Whites carried AA to EEEE widths off the shelf, plus made to order.

Lovely boots !! I have worn both the Trickers and the Alfred Sargent (Appleby) for 30 yrs and find them to be very similar. The A.S. have aged a lot more, colour-wise and re-sole/heel x 2. The Trickers re-sole/heel x 3.
