Those are absolute knockouts! Ive heard rumblings that not all of the Gallun HR has the same amount of "Gnarly" even with the smaller batches. That pair is impressive.though. Enjoy yours in good health! 🍺

The 79 Upland cap toe by Truman is one of my favourite patterns they make, i have that pattern in the Dark Coyote Roughout, Brown Seidel Doubleshot and Oxbood Doulbleshot. If you’re looking for a Packer/Rancher style boot without a dogger/woodsman heel this pattern is great, have other Truman uplands but this is my favourite of their 8” boots. These horserump boots are beautiful but they’d end up shelf queens for me, also prefer the Eugene sole on almost all Truman Boots now. 🤘

@davidvallan7844 thank you for giving us the phrase "shelf queens". I purchased a pair of Caswell Black Cherry Bison MTOs that have sat on the shelf since last year. They have never been worn, although I take them out every now and then to consider matching with a Fit. I call them my "Trophy Boots" - worthy of a special occasion.

I'm not a huge fan of some wildly colored leather but I really like that heavy lug sole. Only have one pair of cap toe in brown double shot and even four months later they still smell great and it's the nicest welt and stitching on any of my boots. Definitely want a few more pairs of Truman's.

I wish they did more "make your own upland" preorders. I used the first one to get one in black chamois (missed out on the natural cypress which I regret hard) and they closed the second round really abruptly within a few days so no idea what went on there. Maybe the second round was more successful than the first

Love the way those cinnamon boots are wearing in. I was so tempted to get them but I just have to have speed hooks. Hopefully they will get back to them like the cognac hr and the black hr (and keep them in the 79 last).

I preordered the Gallun navy-blue horse rump leather boots from Truma. It will be shipped at the end of this month and I am very EXCITED! I am debating whether I should get their Seidal Ink Cheaha boots too. I believe you did a quick video showcasing Ink Cheaha a few years ago. How are they different in person? Is Gallun horse rump more glossy than Seidal Ink Cheaha? Do they both have pull-ups? (I noticed the horse rump has grains looks more bluey to my eyes)

I got a pair of Cognac Horse Rump. It became my fav pair of boots and I have about 40 pair. They killed it with the RUMP. Truman is getting all my $$$ I'm wearing mine at the moment.

That leather is so nice.

I'm waiting for mine, but in plain toe ,not the heavy lug and the low top. I prefer a more dressy look for I wear heavy work boots all day. These will be my 3rd pair, tea core and black shrunken bison. I wish Grant Stone would offer this type of leather in the Diesel. I have 15 pairs of GS in my collection for they fit so well for the price and top Q. Truman look good, but the fit is @ a 7 out of 10, love your reviews, watch them all even the one about your hair. As a guy with hair, we don't judge, your ok with me.

Can this exact boot be ordered, or is it unavailable to the public?

The last 4 boots from Truman have had significant cosmetic issues, one was so poorly lasted that it had to be fully refunded. I have 9 of their boots over the last 3 years. So sad to see this company looking after people who promote their product but sending crap to randoms.
@themoor549827 күн бұрын
@awdtw Oh, no! I'm a Random! Thank you for posting this feedback regarding Truman's lack of Customer Service! The first experience was my attempt to return an MTO pair of Crimson boots that had an obvious defect on the toe lasting. CS requested photos from every possible angle; only to inform afterwards that they did not see any defects. I sent about 15 more photos and finally was able to return for refund. My latest Truman purchase was a pair of Mahogany Bison Moc Toes, which arrived with cometic issues on both boots in addition to loud squeaks with every step. After going the route of sending photos, Truman CS responded there were nothing wrong with the boots but, I can return for store credit. I asked for a discount to save them and me the hassle. I asked for recommendations for resolving the squeaks. The striations in the leather on both boots were AMAZING and I really wanted this pair! Truman CS ignored my other questions and simply responded that the squeaks "should" go away with wear. I reluctantly returned the boots for store credit! Truman placed the boots in the "Seconds" section at a $40 deduction and no special notes for anyone interested to be aware of the issues! Well... the boots sat in the 2nd's section and were still there for the Black Friday sale. I watched about 4 YT videos on resolving squeaks. Armed with information, I repurchased the same boots as Seconds for $330. At this price point, I can live with a couple minor cosmetic issues, and (hopefully, temporary) squeaks until they are resolved. I love Truman built boots - I HATE the lack of Customer Service!

These look great, unfortunately Truman’s lasts do not fit my feet well. I like my Grant Stone Brass boots in Gallun Waxy Stag (wearing them right now, in fact) so hopefully I see this navy horse rump on a boot that fits my feet better.
@themoor549827 күн бұрын
@sschoon86 Have you tried Truman boots on the 20 Last? I own the Bison Moc Toe, British Tan Grizzly Moc Toe, and the Coach Rambler Plain Toe. I have not tried the 79 Last. I'm a bit afraid that I will be disappointed with the difference.

I hope you get over this phase of music soon. Great boots nonetheless.
