Great tutorial. I did not see the link to the more detailed view of how to get the neckline attached. I searched your channel and could not find it.

Helpful tutorial. Good tips. Question: I am inherited an old sewing machine and am looking to buy a new one. I am between a beginner and intermediate sewer. Which machine would you recommend?? there are so many and am overwhelmed for the choice. many look flimsy.

I bought a used Bernina 1230, excellent but not too complicated. Make sure you try it with thread & fabric before you hand over $.

I was just trying to find a way to not get strangled by my tshirts and wow! Your technique seems perfect. The front neckline is flawless. While your work impressed me (and is too advanced for me 😬) I was touched by all the beautiful comments. Seems lots of people missed you and have been thinking about you. You’ve achieved a true sense of community here. Wishing you and everyone blessings on your collective journey.

Hey can i ask what machine did you use can I stitch names with my normal sewing machine I must just but those tools
@ElizabethMadeThisSEW8 ай бұрын
I have a Janome. You could stitch names, but it will be difficult and probably require having to stitch very slowly, at which point, I'd do it with hand embroidery. Stitching letters is one thing that machines with embroidery capabilities are very good at and is difficult to replicate.

First time on your channel. I am very impressed with your tutorial. You are so thorough with nothing but details! I LOVE how you show your work at the machine. Some people just tell you how to do it by pointing their finger at what needs to be sewn. Then the camera picks up from that point on. No, not you. You show ALL of your work and I so much appreciate that, all the while talking your viewers (who many may be beginners) through the entire process with such great learning details! You are a great teacher and I of course have subscribed and liked the video.

I have to use containers with lids because I have a husband who likes to leave doors open in the summer, so we have a moth problem every year. He won’t listen to anybody about closing screen doors. I found out the hard way, holes in my fabrics.
