There was the episode where she was five. Frankly it shows how she used to or could've been a good kid if it werent for being bullied.

2:12 The show made a subtle point here. The gem did not even get enough screentime considering how much BlackFire hyped it up as something that'll make her invincible. The boost due to a random mcguffin could not help against a StarFire that got an emotional power up from having the Titans by her side. My Dad was born in Saigon Vietnam with the Viet Kong were attacking villages, he was rescued in a Military Operation called Operation Baby Lift, 3 Chinook Helicopters came to rescue woman and children, and only 2 of those helicopters made it out. My father alone being on one of them, as his mother had stayed behind to be with her people and hasn't been heard from since. Our family bloodline knows about this type of pain.

There are other episodes that show Vickey, in the right circumstances can be kind, nice and not evil. It's just that she never really had the best childhood. Like when Timmy turns her 5 years old, even though Timmy makes her miserable, we can see she was already in some form miserable. I guess as she got older that misery turned into rage and she took it out on everyone other than those cute, handsome, rich or famous in which she would try to use them for her gain. Honestly it seems weird considering her parents seem like the type to not wanna hurt Vickey, but I guess that one lie became the turn point. Sort of wonder if Vickey had fairly god parent(s) and what might have been the cause they disappeared.

Because it wasn’t a redemption. She immediately fell back on old habits as soon as the situation changed. A redemption has to be permanent to be considered valid. Look at DBZ for example. The reason Vegeta’s redemption was one of the best in fiction was because when he finally let go of his pride, he became a family man. He took trunks to the park like a normal father, he spent valuable time with his family, He didn’t want to fight in the Tournament of power because he would miss the birth of his daughter. That’s redemption. Vegeta permanently changed and didn’t go back, ever.

Oh I love Abigail(Number 5). Best character played by my girl Cree Summer. She acts as leader when things go wrong like when Nigel gave up after being turned into an adult by the delightful children from down the lane. She was very smart and supportive of her friends. And to this day I’m still shocked that Marcus was still part of the KND even after being decommissioned but when really he wasn’t permitted to tell her everything and some remain KND after a thirteen birthday. Secret resistance I like it
