Since the Musical takes place in the 18 hundreds so Rock and Metal doesn't really fit (I personally like it but still)

Teal does things vocally with her role that I haven't heard from other Emmas/Lisas. She's amazing.

Though I don't like his breaks in rhythm, I love the vocal aggression he brings to the part, especially here.

Everyone's saying this version made it too sexual but the Complete Thriller version sounds way more sexual than this. The lighter instrumentation makes that one feel so much more intimate and Warlow and Eder definently played it more that way. The OBC comes off pretty much the same. This comes off more like Music of the Night from Phantom. A seduction song, with both parties drawing in their partner. It comes off like a quid pro quo almost. The emphasis in this version is on the "game" part of the title. The emphasis in the other versions is on the "dangerous," as getting close to Hyde in any form would be. Those versions make it clear Hyde is in control. So this version humanizes Hyde a bit, since he's engaging in the trade off. That can be good or bad, depending on how the actor is playing it.

I am so used to Hyde having a much more deeper voice, but I have to admit Constantine's version is growing on me. The Rockish version reminds me a little bit of the movie "Phantom of the Paradise".

Love this the song if the sexual tone was removed. I always found Lucy to be more afraid of Hyde than she is sexually aroused by him.

kinda disappointed they didn't put the same vocal effects on Hyde like in the stage version, but hey, at least we have both versions!

The thing I like the most about Constantine's Jekyll and Hyde is that unlike every other version I've heard, Constantine's Hyde is the exact same voice as his Jekyll, but it has a different air of confidence. I think the way he does it really brings out that the potential to be Hyde was in Jekyll all along. However, while that symbolism and artistic interpretation is wonderful, it brings up an issue in the song of Confrontation. Which reprises No One Must Ever Know, Alive, Streak of Madness, and Transformation all in one song. It's a melody of the numbers where Jekyll and Hyde struggle for control. But because of Constantine's choice to speak most lines and end the phrase with a high note, its often very hard to tell the difference between his jekyll and his Hyde. I know the song very well, as I've performed it. But from an outside perspective this might be difficult to tell the difference between. This is not a criticism as much as it is an analysis. I like what Constantine did with this role. He's not my favorite, but I like his versions of the songs for what they are, and I don't dislike them for what they aren't.
