i'm not crazy about the changes made to the song, but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't blown away when i saw him perform this song live.

+Tori Jordan Have you checked out the 2006 Resurrection Album? It's rock as well, but more dark and Meatloaf-esq. It's pretty cool imo.

@@lowtiershadowyt9008 agree about Cuccioli, but Warlow was superb, though I do appreciate the use of Constantine's rock vocal especially on Hyde's numbers.

I am so used to Hyde having a much more deeper voice, but I have to admit Constantine's version is growing on me. The Rockish version reminds me a little bit of the movie "Phantom of the Paradise".

I love the Rock vibe it had. And I loved him whipping his hair around. He made bad look soo good

I like this version! Melody is totally different than the original one! Constantine really has an awesome voice

I love his energy in this. I prefer my Hydes to have a deeper voice but he did a really good job in this.

I think at this point, when I saw this number live in Chicago, I officially decided this revival felt more like a rock concert than a coherent story. I respect Frank and Constantine for trying something new...I just don't think it worked in terms of incorporating the new music and story together. However, it was fun getting to see SOME form of this show on stage....hopefully the next interpretation takes a more timeless approach.

and I saw the video of this on youtube. Hyde sounded more like a ghoul with the vocal effects added. they don't do that for the concept album. Don't know why

what about all the new elements in the show? I saw the first Transformation scene on KZbin and was blown away!!! DJ was hooked up to all these wires in sort of an electric chair. Not something you'd see in the original version. he injects himself with a needle in the original show. everything else, I'll just have to wait and see, if I ever get the chance!!! GRRR!!
@krystalharwood412611 жыл бұрын
yeah nice one. I mentioned that to somebody on KZbin and called them Old Man, sarcastically. they snapped at me and said they were eighteen and still didn't like this show! WHATEVA!

Though I don't like his breaks in rhythm, I love the vocal aggression he brings to the part, especially here.

+StaryBlaze Entertainment Well, I personally think that Rob Evan in the 2006 version does really well. (The one called "Jekyll&Hyde Resurrection)
@DarthWill38 жыл бұрын
What about Robert Cucciolo?
@jackmoody51748 жыл бұрын
DarthWill3 I personally love Cuccioli in the role, but in my opinion his strengths lie mainly in acting (although he does have a nice voice), whereas Warlow vocals actually blew my mind, and he his acting was as near to perfect as it can be when you have no gestures or facial expressions to work with
@NocturneFexy8 жыл бұрын
DarthWill3 He's good, but Warlow absolutely demolishes that guy's peformance

This one's biggest problem is that the singer does plenty of the singing, but doesn't do any of the acting.

True, but he did a much better job in the actual performance. It's just difficult to truly act when you're only singing

I just came from seeing this production in Chicago, and I gotta say that I set my expectations too high. Emma did a fantastic job, and Lucy, who was played by her understudy, blew my mind. The problem with it came with Constantine. I will give him that he has a great voice, but he never learned how to breath properly because it sounds like he is slurping a 7/11 slurpee every time he takes a breath. They completely butchered Alive, Facade, and Confrontation.
@RainvArt11 жыл бұрын
this is... horrible. xDDDDD i'm so sorry... ok ok, I explain: just think in Rob Evan, or in Robert Cucciolli, they sing like a MONSTER THEY MUST BE, this man just sounds like a rock singer xDDD it's not bad, but... is just that, a rock singer.
