I got a error code of CP_a066 on my 2021 M3 after the car failed to charge overnight. Turns out the EV charger (Zappi) had tripped overnight (not sure if a low level of snow was responsible or just a coincidence) after resetting the charger the car is now charging as normal. Going to try the automation settings tonight. If not, booked into service centre in 2 days time but looks well.

how things going? 20k euros is a huuuge amount of money. You can have 2019-2020 used Electric kona in Poland. Even less (70k pln - 16k euro) and after that accident you got a new car, or you needed to repair? Or insurance company repaired it fully? I was thinking avbout EV, but seeing something like this... I paying for old ICE car about 100 euro for basic insurance, I don;t want to pay 1000 euro for car insurance xd

Great video - only one in English. Do you have connected it with inverter? Are you sure that I can communicate Wallbox with inverter wireless?

I have connected it via the clamp meters that were included in the box. I have a huawei inverter and for that there is an extra wifi dongle needed (about 40 eur) but yes, it can do it wirelessly if you have the dongle. Other inverters do it wirelessly with no dongle required. There is a list of compatible inverters on their website

Replacing the battery cells at high mileage is not actually so bad a task - if you're geared up for it. You need physical space. There is a bit of surgery as you need to drop the battery pack out of the car which is large. When you open it up there is a handling procedure as it's high voltage. You need some measuring equipment which is cheap and you need to bottom balance each cell before you connect them together. So there is some work but it may be cost effective if the cells can be bought cheaply. Also there may be the possibility of buying a battery out of a crashed Dacia Spring and in fact you might even be rebuilding that pack while the original battery is still in service. It will be interesting to see how the car holds up after 150,000 miles. Maybe if it was in a warm country if might be good.

@@electzro Daca nu se face atata reclama aiurea pentru ele eu cred ca o sa inceapa sa dispara. Am vazut statistici cum proprietari de Ev-uri cumpara din nou masini pe benzina/motorina. Pretul de revanzare pare a fi o problema, locurile de incarcare par a fi o problema. SUnt multe chestii... se vand tot mai putin vad pe piata Americana, Australiana si Europeana. Doar in China se vand pentru ca din cauza subventiilor au ajuns la preturi infime dar si calitate pe masura. Este plin internetul de buleli la electrice din China.

Sunt si articole pe partea opusa, clienti care iau masini electrice dupa zeci de ani de benzina sau diesel. Majoritatea soferiilor care isi iau o masina electrica nu si-ar mai lua orice altceva niciodata. S-au incetinit vanzarile la multe, nu doar la masini electrice. Statii sunt deja mai multe decat avem nevoie in multe zone atat in Romania cat si in europa asa ca.. vom vedea. Eu pariez pe Nu adica nu vor disparea. Din contra, vor fi din ce in ce mai bune. Deja sunt masini electrice la preturi accesibile care merg peste 5-600 km, adicat cat o masina obisnuita, de ex avem in familie un duster 1.5dci. Mai mult de 6-700km nu merge orice ai face.

@@electzro Depinde de gandirea fiecaruia. Oricum multe tari produc electricitate pe baza de carbon deci nu este mare chestie. Unii cred ca vai este eco dar inca nu suntem la acel stadiu. EV inca este departe de eco.

Sunt si multe tari care produc energie foarte verde. Iar trendul e in crestere in ceea ce priveste sursa de energie verde. Atentie: o masina electrica emite mai putine emisii per total chiar si atunci cand sursa de energie nu este curata. In alte cuvinte, poti incarca de la un generator diesel de ex, si tot mai curat va fi decat o masina pe combustie

Dacia Spring owner from Greece here. Almost 17.000km after 20 months. Battery life at 95%. This is the ultimate CITY car as long as you own a petrol/diesel one. I mean it is the best choice for second car. Thanks for your video although you've posted it two years ago 😊

@@Σακης-υ7κ Όσο πιο πολύ κίνηση τόσο μικρότερη κατανάλωση. Φορτίζω τις περισσότερες φορές σε φορτιστές "εξω" deh blue κτλ Ελάχιστες φορές στο σπίτι με ενισχυμένη σούκο, απλά το αφήνω το βράδυ και όσο πάρει μέχρι το πρωί. Από 20% στο 80% αν θυμάμαι καλά πρέπει να θέλει κάνα 10ωρο

Salut. opreste incarcarea mereu din app-ul retelei de incarcare sau folosind cardul cu care ai dat drumul. Apoi dupa ce incarcarea s-a oprit, scoate cablul din masina, apoi din statie. Daca opresti incarcarea din masina, cablul ramane blocat.

Easee for the win! I’ve been using it since 2,5 years in the common underground garage of my apartment flat. Several neighbors use it as they can communicate among each other and space is limited. Btw there are cheaper cloud based solutions for solar charging with easee than the equalizer. For example with the Powerfox energy meter. Now I will start using Huawei FusionSolar with the new solar system and energy management installed in my house.

Easee is a very good charger. Also very nice app. Of course there are multiple cheaper diy solutions for solar charging but not everyone has the know how to do diy solar charging so for those people, out of the box solutions like this are a great option

there was a really good yt video that i watched that explained how the percentage for batteries shown is just an approximation so its not real data since batteries dont have motherboard that can send their status information to the computer of the car or phone for that matter

I have a Renault K-ZE in China, a 2019 model made in December, so it likely has the Lishen pack shown at 4:25. CanZE Plus mostly works with my car; it can read cell voltage but not cell temperature, which is a bit strange.

Should be the same car.. What verson of can-ze are you using? If it's the latest, try an older one. If it's an older, try a newer one.

Yeah. I would not spend this much money on a charger like this unless you drive a lot or have a large battery on the car. The price difference is quite big from something simple around 300 eur, to something like this around 750 eur

The Trydan is excellent in case you own solar panels, as it communicates with the solar inverter and only charges the car in case the panels are producing electricity.

Poți să explici pe înțelesul viitorilor posesori de ev ce face exact acest solar charger? Cum se conectează? Îl bagi în priză pur și simplu? Se leagă la tabloul electric? Cu câți KW poate încărca? Merge și pe trifazic? Trage curent și din rețea? O explicație pentru cineva care are vagi cunoștințe despre lumea EV. Mulțumesc

Rezolvat astazi in 15 min :) ... de fapt era un modul de la portul de charging, adica nu tot portul s-a schimbat, un fel de doar "un cipulet" de la port. Evident pe garantie, totul pare sa functioneze acum. Am incercat si Type 2 si Supercharger si functioneaza normal. Mi-au spus ca nu aveam ce sa fac ca sa previn, pur si simplu a crapat.

Salut. Aceeasi eroare azi si la mine. Ce au reparat mai exact si cat a durat ? Eu sunt din Bucuresti (Model 3 LR 2023) dar am programare abia pe 19 iun :(... si mai am 20% baterie, evident pastrez doar sa ma deplasez la ei. Le-am scris de masina si de faptul ca e peste 3 sap programarea dar nu am primit nimic pana acum (prin intermediul aplicatiei). MS

Imi pare rau sa aud. Se pare ca e o problema comuna. Suna la call centerul lor, ai numarul pe net. Spune ce problema ai si o sa te bage in fata chiar daca ai programare pe 19.06. E tratat ca caz prioritar. Se rezolva prin garantie in 2-3 zile. Ai dreptul si la masina de schimb ori tesla ori de la autonom, tot electrica inclusiv pana iti iau masina in service! Poti sa-mi spui unde s-a intamplat? La ce statie? Incarcai pe Ac sau pe Dc?

@@electzro am incercat la un MOL Plugee culmea pe Type2 pt ca aveam ceva timp de ars (eram racit si nu ma duceam la birou sa dau si altora :) ... si am vrut sa lucrez din masina. Apoi dupa MOL Plugee am vrut la un LIDL, dar deja aveam eroarea si asa a ramas. Am 23.000 km cu masina intr-un, efectiv niciun defect, chiar nu inteleg ce a patit deodata.

3% is not a good % to store a battery for long time. I would avoid it. Or if it's a really good deal, do some charge / discharge test if possible. If not, just skip it

@@electzro I charged the car, 100% - 210 km range. I should go with it to see how the mileage is running out and top it up again. I think 100/150 km would be enough.

Yes. Then you can measure approximately what degradation it has. It shluld he overall fine but still it might have some early degradation that only in 5-7 years will show up. Only consider buying it if it's cheaper than others..

@@electzro The decision is difficult, knowing that the car has been standing for so long and has never been charged. The warranty is there if there is a problem, but how can it be that it is too discharged and they can see it somewhere?

@mikloskalman2841 yes it's difficult. It only makes sence if it's a lot cheaper than others on the market like i said. Cars like tesla will be able to show from logs that the car wa sitting at low SOC % for long but Dacia Spring probably has no such logs

Am inteles. Trebuie sa suni la tesla din tableta masinii. Zici care e problema. O sa te puna sa faci ceva reset-uri dar nu o sa ajute. Iti iau masina cu platforma. Poti sa ceri sa-ti duca masina la bucuresti, budapesta sau unde vrei in raza 800km gratia. Se rezolva repede si pe garantie (gratis) ( sa insisti sa te ia in fata. De regula te pot programa de pe o zi pe alta pt astfel de probleme). Trebuie mers dupa masina la service sau organizat transport inapoi (nu este inclus de tesla). Nu mai incarca la statia unde s-a defectat nici pe dc nici pe ac. Bafta. MY rwd 57kwh?

Brilliant reviews. I live on the isle of wight UK so need a fairly small EV and Dacia tick the boxes. However all major reviewers except ( jonny late brake show) are so negative yet praise a £40k or £75k car. They dont get it. So yes good job.

Thnx. I heard that the new facelift model will be sold in the UK. Shame they didn't upgrade any of the hardware, even if it's a decent platform, would have been nice to see small upgrades.

Masina avea 8 roti cu motoare in roti ca cele de scuter electric, si prindea 250 km pe ora cu o autonomie de 150 km, dupa care schimbai bateria care costa 10 centi. De atunci nu s-a mai auzit nimic despre acea masina ca sa nu le mai dea vacarii retardati satanisti din SUA satanista o alta bomba atomica, sau un alt tsunami ca cel asupra Fukushimei. Acum se fabrica aceste mizerii de carutze cu volan numite ilegal masini, despre care nu gasesti informatii tehnice legate de motor si sistemul de alimentare, ca sa stai la mana satanistilor. Trebuie sa fii un mare bou ca sa cumperi asemenea tigai electrice care ard ca artificiile fara sa le poti stinge. Dar la cata PROSTIE exista in lume este de asteptat ca spurcatii sa le vanda prostilor asemenea rebuturi.

8:03 The parking sensors are "crap" because Elon Musk decided to get rid the sonar-based proximity sensors in the bumpers to save time on the production line and just use the dash camera. That was clearly an idiotic move.

@@electzro The camera cannot see over the nose of the vehicle so small objects low to the ground are hidden at close range. It's the reason the other manufacturers still use sonar sensors in the bumpers.

Lots of vehicles will have different issues, this is unfortunate but is not a common issue among most Model Y's. Dont let this sway your decision to go electric, there's far more that can go wrong with a Gas Vehicle.

My guess is that the shown percentage is offset by some fixed value like 20%, do you know at what kWh it showed 1% again?

It's the lower buffer. Yes, it's offset by about 10% so around 2.5 kwh. When it's on 0% there is still around 2.5 kwh in the battery

If fault has been determined , your ins. should be sueing for the toral cost of repair and comprnsate you accordingly . Thats the way it works in California .👍

Yeah.. it's different in each country from what i saw from comments. Someone from Hungary even said that if the car is less then 6 months old and less then whatever miles then the insurance needs to pay the market value of the car + 10%.

Didn't have a dashcam unfortunately otherwise i would have included it. The funny thing is i was planning on getting one so in a week or two i would have already had one :)
