As a former atheist, I have discovered the gospel is completely unknown to the vast majority of professing Christianity, especially clergy., by a complete mystery to me, who is able to read what Jesus called the gospel, and it's simple purpose. It's as if all of Christianity is numb to it's own Lord's prayer. Thy kingdom come, gospel. Mt. 24:13-14, gospel and end Mk. 1:14-15, he said believe it's the gospel. So, how dies the gospel that brings his return, suddenly a lengthy, complicated need for a savior rocket science? The gospel is so simple and straightforward, you can read it's fulfilling in 2 quick verses, embellishments be gone. 1Cor. 15:23-24, simple gospel fulfilled, kingdom delivered up the END of Mt. 24:13. The refusal of Christianity to just read and repeat Jesus on the gospel means the long-suffering is deliberate. It's not my fault God is not complicated. Marvel not at the sublimity of simplicity.

Deuteronomy 7 is written by the Jews to justify their genocide of the Canaanites. What it really says is that the Israelites must genocide the Canaanites, destroy their culture and take their land. God has just been used by the Israelites to justify their greed and it is written that this is acceptable behaviour because God loves you. God can do anything. There is nothing that God can’t do. God can even be used to justify genocide and land theft and precisely this was done in Deuteronomy 7. I wish you well in the wars to come. With an ideology and gaslighting manipulation that you have displayed here, most definitely war is coming.

- Expect tears as a natural part of life, even for those walking with God. - Invest tears by sowing seeds of sorrow, knowing that joy will come in due time. - Pray through tears by bringing them to God for processing and seeking comfort. - Tears should not be avoided but seen as opportunities for growth and joy - Planting tears as seeds leads to a harvest of joy and transformation - Expressing tears through prayer with a realisation of grace, vision of the cross, and assurance of glory is essential - The importance of planting tears in the vision of the cross for understanding and joy amidst suffering. - Overcoming guilt, self-pity, and impatience by reflecting on Jesus' experience on the cross. - The assurance that all prayers will eventually lead to praise and joy, providing hope and comfort in challenging times. By looking at Jesus' experience on the cross, individuals can overcome guilt, self-pity, impatience, and find assurance of glory. Tears are seen as a pathway to eventual praise and joy. References: - Psalm 39:12-13 - Psalm 126:1-6 - Psalm 30:5 - 'Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning' - 2 Corinthians 4:17 - 'For our slight momentary affliction is achieving an eternal weight of glory' - Eugene Peterson's book 'Answering God' - C.S. Lewis' reflection on grief and fear. Actions: - Expect tears as part of life's journey and be prepared to face them head-on. - Invest your emotions wisely, acknowledging the pain but planting seeds of hope for a brighter future. - Realise the importance of sowing tears rather than avoiding them - Express tears through prayer with a focus on grace, the cross, and glory - Reflect on Jesus' experience on the cross when feeling guilty or abandoned to find assurance in his sacrifice. - Engage in ministry and help others, embracing tears as a medium for producing joy and growth in oneself and those around.

I always thought the story of Jacob and Esau was kind of strange. 1.( his mother helped him in his deceit!…) so he cheats his brother. Then later, he ends up wrestling with God and tells him I’m not going to let me go until you bless me. So God blessed him… And then he went to become one of the leaders of Israel. I don’t get how a lion conniving sneaky son ends up in that place.

Summary: This sermon by Timothy Keller on 1 Corinthians 6-7, provides helpful, thoughtful, yet practical insights from the apostle Paul's teachings on sex and marriage. Keller juxtaposes two prevalent cultural views: that sex is insignificant or inherently sinful. He emphasizes that sex is a powerful act of unity. By God’s design, sex is best within marriage. Keller further stresses that various sins, including materialism and gossip, are equally damaging to community as sexual immorality-all stemming from prioritizing individual needs over other’s well-being. Keller also offers counsel for those struggling with sexual self-control, highlighting God's forgiveness and the importance of a balanced perspective on marriage.

Trusting God in difficult times? Human beings, have it easier now than anytime in history. Look up Exodus 21 or Deuteronomy 25. When God gave specific rules for beating your slaves and where to buy them and how long you can keep them. Imagine living during those times when you could be owned as property, sexuality molested daily, beaten for the slightest mistake ,paid nothing and God had no problem with it, even Jesus said, obey your masters.

I will never comprehend how these members of the intellectual intelligencia of Big Eva like Keller, Piper, etc. can have such depth of insight into the word yet be anti nationalists who exhort to separate ourselves from being involved with politics, yet interject themselves into politics by their anti nationalist declarations. Seems rather twisted to me. Our founders seemed to have a better handle on this.

I have been taking notes on these messages and was so disappointed to find that this was the last one Tim completed. I can't just leave it here, and will attempt to discover the gospel in the remaining books of the bible for myself. All praise to God our Father for sending His Son and leaving us with His word.

Mike Baker is still covering his sexual abuse and WiFi hack that brought Andy Stanley to his church. Caleb and Mike were assaulting the same woman and many others. It highly unusual for the police department to do nothing about these woman coming forward about Caleb Baker. My police reports went in regarding Mike Baker and they did nothing. Captain Petrilli started claiming I was mentally ill to come forward with sexual harassment allegations against the pastor. I’m not sure how all the other women had their police reports investigated by Normal Police regarding Caleb or how Caleb and Mike can even get a severance package from the state for his actions. Chad Parker was also involved in this for years and is still having immoral sexual abuse and stealing money from the church. The police have not made any of these reports public and continue to harbor the sexual predators in Eastview. They released some evidently
