I’m a nurse practitioner in anesthesia and was just educating our preop nurses about this during our lunch break yesterday.

Maybe a few people profit of this medication, but I do not like, that the companies sell us highly-processed, unhealthy food with many side-effects, and later, when we have excess weight, an expensive medication against it with significant side effects.

I am an autistic woman level 2 battling very strong panic atracks and cronic anxiety. I've always had a difficult time with my weight, since infancy. But started working out in my teens and never stopped. Just trying to stay healthy. Eating well is part of it. But I never really thought much about taking care of my body as being a form of worship. Never used drugs. Don't drink much at all. Old now. But with the time I have left I will be more conscious of caring for my "temple" for the glory of the Lord. Good video. Thanks for reminding us!🙏✝️❤️

I can tell you from experience. I took my diabetic mom out of the nursing home to live with me in 2020 during the pandemic. I lowered her carb intake and rarely gave her anything sweet. We did eat meat however, processed food was extremely limited. Most people would never know she was once hallucinating, in a wheelchair, and could hardly talk! She’s 84 yrs old and off her Metformin, too!

Just bought dried figs from Turkey. I was eating a higher fiber brand of fig newtons but wanted to get rid of the extra carbs. I read somewhere only to eat 1 or 2 figs per day if you're taking blood thinner, since they are high in vitamin K. So now I am enjoying 2 every day - plain, dried, not in a newton.😂😋
