A lot of people say that Kosovo Albanian have the most foreign words but that’s not exactly true, because Arberesh has a lot of Italian influence and Albanians from Albania have more Turkish words compared to Kosovo. Take for example “Qumsht or “klumsht” is actually a borrowing from Latin, and Dallge is a Turkish borrowing which we don’t use in Kosovo. In Kosovo Klumsht is fat milk, but tamel is the proper word for milk, and Vale is the proper word for wave not dallge.

but these words in arberesh are Greek.. kormi (body), parakales (request), parakalo (please), charistou, (thank you) etc. they are more like the Greek Arvanite words and not the current Albanian ones besides, in Albanian there are thousands of Greek and Latin words as well as Italian. As the young Greek Arvanite declares, he does not understand Albanian, except to somehow agree on agricultural work, and of what they say in the dialogue, only 50%, besides that, the Arvanites declare that they are all Greeks and no one is Albanian here for 500 years! I am of Arbanite descent from my father and I understand 20-30% of Albanian andunderstand the Albanian borrowed from Greek.

Dimitri! God bless you and your family brother. Both of you should be proud of yourselves. Respect for both of you! . But the same people, une jam Shqiptar nga jugu. I m from southern Albanian, and I understand you just fine. We speak the same language. Same blood, una facha una Raca! . Dimitri, we are proud of you man it's hard for Arvanitet to speak Arvanitka, The Greek government makes it impossible , , They will not tolerate Albanian Language, Arvanitet are discriminated against, Btw, Qyteze is in korçe, The same place that James Belushi, and John Belushi , Hollywood actors in America Bless you both. We are proud of you.

Më vjen shumë interesant që në do vende në kosovë u kanë përzirë fjalët gjelbër edhe verdhë me kuptim. Jam ritur edhe unë me kuptimin që ngjyra e diellit thirrët “gjelbër”… më vonë mësova që s’o sakt kjo. Kështu qe: dielli ka ngjyrën e verdhë edhe fleta e një peme ka ngjyrën e gjelbër. (Sarit vjen nga fjalin turqe “sari”, ashtu edhe jëshili)

i really hope one day albanians will find their true origins, because its very sad to see a whole nation try to steal history of others because the dont know who they are. i mean you cannot say that you are illyrian, dacian, thracian, pelasgian, creator of ancient greece, trojan and basiccaly everything while you are nothing from them.
@fisniksijarina5155Ай бұрын
This is very easy. Do the DNA test. I did. And yes I am Gaul, Ancient Greek, Illyrian, Roman and Thracian. My identity is Albanian. Everything is clear. I don't know what are you talking about.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just a Romanian, but my understanding were that the Albanians were Illyrian, the Bulgarians were the ones who claimed the Thracians and of course we Romanians are the Dacians. Since when do the Albanians claim them?
