Amazing work! I'd like to leave a "deep" comment...but frankly your work leaves me speechless.

Sitting on watch In deep and icy boreal fjords Yet untouchable A man-made mountain of cold Wotan-Stahl Wielding a silent reign of terror From afar, northernmost Summoned to this distant post Still shrouded under heavy clouds And worthy crowned by glacial mountain chains Absolute supremacy A fleet in being Avoided fearfully By all her enemies The lonely queen of the north Raising her lethal scepter All superior artillery But doomed to fall as the last of her kind (Yes, this is a reference…)

I have this exact detail up set for my own Missouri build, what glue are you using or recommend for adhering the photoetch to the model?

It's so crazy to me how good these look. I want to get model kits but I don't think I have the mental capacity ad time to do all that. Plus I wouldn't know what I'm doing especially when painting it.

Would they have allowed lights on in the hangar decks at night in war time? Wouldn’t there have been a blackout order?

hi i have 1 question where did you get the pier kit?

First and foremost, EXCELLENT model work. I would just like to point out a very noticeable error that only a historian like myself would catch: On the starboard side amidships, a Japanese zero struck the Missouri. Laughably, the zero exploded on impact but only DENTED the Mo. That dent is still very visible to this day, so it’s a significant lapse to exclude from this model, especially since it was so noteworthy to everyone on board that day. It also would have been more prominent back then as I’m sure multiple paint-overs have shallowed it out some.

I haven't watched one of your builds for a while, but they're always impressive! Is it easier to use 3D printed parts than resin ones?

Really a beautiful model. Yorktown did not have 18 TBDs at Midway, and this ship's practice was to launch the TBDS before the SBDs. The CAP fighters went first, then the TBDs, then some of the SBDs. See the historical record in the book The First Team. This takes nothing away, of course, from the quality of this model making.
