Welcome back! Congratulations on the upcoming addition, and condolences to the departed... Always take time to take care of yourself, it's something only you can do really. I enjoy your builds and always learn something I can use in my game, so thank you for all you do.

Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry about you losing your fuzzy. I know that pain well and it is very difficult. Congratulations on your (soon to arrive) bundle of joy! I look forward to your future work but I am glad you are taking time to take care of you. :)

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear of the loss of your cat. And congratulations on the news of the soon arrival of your new baby. I like your Nordhagen Beach build series that I've committed to building my own. I actually built enough settlement there so far that it has a skyine the BOS can see from Boston Airport. I like the format of this video today, and I like your settlement build videos But for now, I've gathered Preston, and we're off to clean up Quincy, so he can get some justice, and a sense of closure

@@SophiesDriver thank you so much! I'm glad you decided to build at Nordhagen as well! Enjoy storming Quincy (I did that mission once a while ago and it was fun!)

8:30 Build order is important for the settlement system in this game. If you take out the large [Shack Wall] adjacent to the [Shack Wall and Roof], you can place the smaller [Shack Wall]end piece into its position, then place the larger [Shack Wall] back, similar to what you did at 11:50.

What many players seem to forget is this edition of Fallout is 200 years after the bombs fell. Needs of the population & survivability dictates how far along industrialization has advanced in sophistication. Crude wooden shacks offer little protection against frequent radiation storms, marauding bands of Raiders, Super Mutants, & mutated animals. The logic of leaving an intact & highly defensible Vault makes absolutely no sense. Logic would dictate building farms in the area surrounding viable & livable Vaults. Inhabitants would be able to retreat into the Vaults in the case of danger. Building is hamstrung by the game creators because every piece of scrap, broken machinery, or electronics should be considered a relevant & usable resource. The timeline of Fallout 76 is a more appropriate era for crude buildings a mere 20 years or so after the bombs fell. So stop being fooled & duped into not using mods to create far more sophisticated structures...

Does radiation make lesbians immortal ? 😂 It did for the two women in pre-bomb Sanctuary who moved to Oberland Station. See for yourself. Take that Republicans. 😂 ❤

Nice start to the settlement. I hope you continue this series because I am curious to see what you evolve it into. Also, I just wanted to say thanks for the spiral staircase at Grey Garden video. I used the idea myself in one of my builds and it looks great. I added an extra floor tile to three of the stairs and put missile turrets on them. It was fun to sit up on the top of the overpass and watch super mutants go BOOM. 😁 Edit: Just a thought....put the turrets on the top of the roof above the stairway 👍

I like the elegant simplicity of this build. Tenpines is tricky and I usually just put 4 turrets on the shack and call it a day.

If ever you use mods No More Twigs is good one for this settlement...it removes the 3 foot dead grass in common wealth and you really notice it in this settlement...game changer... love your vids ....been binging them all ❤❤

8:32...if you remove the wall between the guard tower and " bump out ", you can place the end cap and then put back the shack wall
