I must admit that I shouted at the screen when you were pulling out the headlining of the top of the B pillar panels but you removed without incident. Well done. When is Part 2 available ? What sort of sticky glue are you going to use ? My Tourer headlining is on a table in my Mates paintshop in the dry. Any advice from your personal experience would be appreciated. Thanks for the comment. On my car there was only one connector from the car wiring loom/harness, to the rear brake pads wear sensors. (It seems to only monitor one side?). My car is a UK right hand drive, so my pads had a connection for the pad wear sensor on the left hand side (passenger). The right hand side (driver side) fly lead from the brake pad was attached to the retaining clip on the calliper, but the actual plug wasn’t connected to anything (it is just left unplugged). I hope that helps.

Hi bud, thanks a lot for putting this up. My CDTi door cards are now needing replacing so your How-To is dead useful.🙂 What area of material did you need for the four cards please? More specifically, what quantity did you order from AS Trim? Thanks.
@superjumboracing3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! They sell the Milano foam backed as 1 metre x 1.5 metre sizes. I ordered 2 of these. Just check that it will be a continuous piece 2 M x 1.5 M. I think that is how the send it anyway, but better to check. I don’t think you could do it with just a one metre piece, you also really want to have the material running in the same direction. I messed up one door card, and destroyed the material when trying to unstick it. Good luck with it.

@superjumboracing3 ай бұрын
Good news on the MOT! I ended up using around one and a half cans, but I messed up one door card and had to do it again. I think I used more adhesive than I maybe needed to, but I didn’t want the bond to fail. I think you could probably just use one can, but I can’t be sure on that. My most important tip, is to try and follow the dips in the door card, when putting the material on, and to try and get the material into the dips without stretching, if that makes sense? For instance, don’t lay the material flat down over the complete door card, then try and stretch it down into the dips/recesses.

Hello. Very important note. When finish replacing pass and discs many times you need to retract pistons in the caliper. Ones is done and job finish you need to jump into the car directly pump several times brake pedal till the moment it will "grow up" then you can start ignition. If you skip that process ecu will detect it and take it as a leaks from braking system. As a respond it will block some sections on abs pump and brakes won't work at all or just a side. Additionally you will get "Christmas tree lights" on your dashboard/cluster. It that case without computer your car will be INOP.

Its a 12v battery so shouldn't be much higher than 12 v. When engine on, the alternator should provide over 13v. Typically 13.8v. But depends on the alternator fitted and what output the alternator is set to. By the looks to it that alternator is set a little low but working. What is the voltage of the alternator at 1500rpm as this is the normal driving revs of the engine. I would expect the voltage to be higher than 13.2 v so all is good
